Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel has offered to take charge of a film celebrating Donald Trump's presidential campaign that would air next month at the Republican National Convention, Trump said in a new interview.
"He's a very good friend of mine," Trump said about Emanuel in a story posted online Wednesday by The Hollywood Reporter. "He calls me a lot. I call him a lot and we talk. He's very political. Even though he's not political, he's political. He gets it."

I don’t know much about Ari himself, other than the “Ari Gold” character played by Jeremy Piven on “Entourage” was based on Ari Emmanuel, but if Ari Emmanuel is a political agnostic whose primary focus in life is making money AND he’s GOOD at making money, then Trump might be making a good choice for a promoter for his film. Not to mention, it might cause some nice consternation within the Emmanuel family as a side benefit.
The Godfather, Don ‘Corlione’ Trump, says with a deep, airy, Italian accent, “Keep your enemies closer”.
The Don inquires, “Ari, what is that crazy brother Rahm up to now?”
That's it, right there! Your entire worldview is concerned only with how something affects Trumps political message.
The Emanuel Family is an evil entity in so many ways. On this website, pre-Trump, that used to be far more than enough of a reason to justify refusing to work with them. Now, people here only weigh their utility to Trump. The collective moral compass has been replaced by unyielding fealty to a single politician.

Exactly, he is an agent not a director - he knows how to produce. I am pretty sure this Ari guy knows how to make movies. I see this as more Ted Cruz ideological thinking where the Cruzers who just want to preach to the choir.
Why would you put an agent in charge of making a movie? Doesn’t make sense, except to help put the people together.
Trump’s people will review the final product, and will be supervising the project.
As long as the guy stays on the straight, and isnt pulling some monkey business, then it’s just a business transaction.

I'm going to email his office stating my negative opinion on Mr. Trump having ANY Emanuel anywhere NEAR his campaign inner workings.
The Emanuels, including the corrupt Chicago mayor, are long-time clever, opportunistic political operatives with little steadfast loyalty to any particular ideologies and with constantly shifting political morals......except when it furthers their own financial and power objectives.

Trump has so many good friends. I bet it’s hard to have good friends when you’re a man like Trump; you know, never knowing whether someone is just using you for your name or money or influence.
