Trump is not "at war" with the press. He is trying to tell the truth and expose their lies.
When thy get slapped they better learn to take it and like it.
This is just the beginning. I hope Trump puts a few of them in front of a firing squad. Especially once people see all the treason that has been taking place the last 10 years.
Not one thing I’ve seen or heard from the media even mentions that state rep from NH who showed up for the press conference on his own. Trump brought him onstage and this rep gave an IMPASSIONED endorsement of Trump’s procedures in handling the money properly and getting it to deserving recipients.
Trump is not “at war” with the press.
He is at war with lies and slander.
The press foments those lies and slander.
The MSM is the enemy of truth.
Testy, no. I think that Trump was precise and drawing a line in the sand with the media. Interesting that the ABC reports of the press conference, written by others, made absolutely no mention yesterday of the accusation leveled against Tom Llamas. ABC needs to explain why Tom Llamas is not suspended or fired.

But, the press has been at war with non Democrats for decades. And now they can’t stand up to scrutiny.
That press conference was a sight to behold... and a long time since anyone told them who they are. Reagan used to do it with a smile... Trump didn’t smile. If he had not been direct, they’d think he was fair game with them.. they are privileged individuals.... they’d tear into him because they think he’s gullible and they think they can. His language and use of names on those he is attacking ... the elite snobs think he’s not so bright ... but Trump is super smart and on top of just about everything he attempts... he’s quick, he gets things done.. and he’s not going to be pushed around by any lessers. And he loves our country... does not apologize for anything!
Assuming that Hillary Clinton (or whoever the Dem nominee is) has a bigger financial war chest AND a sycophantic media at their beck and call, there must be a way to neutralize that advantage.
The second assumption was that the media was all on board for the Trump circus as long as it was fellow Republicans getting steamrolled, but would get disciplined on the free earned media once the general election was in focus.
What Trump has done is made it IMPOSSIBLE for the major media to ignore him, and has probably made them so frustrated that they will over pursue and reveal themselves more fully even to those who don’t ordinarily pay much attention.
The hard left STILL thinks that it is a good strategy to throw things and wave Mexican flags at anti-Trump protests.
Trump will raise the bar eventually of political journalism. It’s poor on all sides. I’m sure Obama will say the same thing.
He’s asking for honest reporting, not sugar coating, just be honest. On the whole they are dishonest and in many cases disloyal to America in general.

I wish he would call them by name when they are lying about something. He had no trouble calling out Megan Kelly when she was unfair to him. He should do that to all of them, and cite who they work for.
Trump actually rebuking the media has been a long time coming. He has opened the door to their lies and bias reporting. Obviously the media thinks they have been "untouchable" for years, as have many of our politicians. Finally, their chickens are coming home to roost and they don't like it.
Chez Boots was talking about this last night. It was Reagan who last spoke of and acted on an America First ethos. Before that, Carter didn’t, so, absent Reagan, we’re talking 30 years of America-hating, corrupt globalists. People at about 30 years old have no idea what that ethos/ethic is. None. They also have not learned American history and don’t even know their rights-the Bill of Rights, just for starters.
Here comes Trump, and the money men and corporations who are globalists have to defeat him and the cause of America First. Patriotism is xenophobic fascism.
Patriotism. National pride. America First. This is all at stake in this election, with us as the main course.
