Republican candidate Donald Trump is firing back after neoconservative operative Bill Kristol announced that he expects an independent candidate to enter the race to split the Republican vote.
Kristol’s effort to get a candidate to run on his anti-Trump “Latter-Day Republicans” ticket – already condemned by the Republican National Committee – has apparently come to fruition.
Just a heads up over this holiday weekend: There will be an independent candidate--an impressive one, with a strong team and a real chance.
Trump did not take the announcement lying down. The presumptive Republican nominee slammed Kristol and implored Republicans to keep the “Weekly Standard” editor in line.

Bill Kristol is a self identified enemy effecting working for the Hillary campaign. He needs to be treated as such and destroyed as the POS that he is.

Despite all the posturing, what Republican could stand up to Trump and throw away their Republican career at this point? Lyn’ Cruz still comes to mind but he was utterly and totally defeated—though still stealing delegates and scheming about the convention. Romney? No, he’s lost too many times. Ryan? No, he is currently Number 3 behind Obama, why risk his position? That goes for the others, no one would risk their political career at this point.

If it was anyone to worry about he would have just announced it. Instead he has to dangle this news out in order to get attention. This tells me its going to be a joker of a candidate.
Anyone who decides to run as an independent republican is betraying the party and ending thier political career. It will have to be someone who has nothing to lose. It is going to be someone like McCain or Graham. It could be Charlie Christ. Prior governor of FL, ran as a Dem, Rep and an Independent.
The elite are in full on panic. They see Hillary (who the neocons would all have loved to flock to) going down. So they want to throw Romney back into the mix out of panic. Wow, maybe he could carry Utah...but really it’s to try and make Hillary viable again. Asswipes. What they don’t get is that if the people don’t get their revolution this way - at the ballot box - it will come very soon with bullets and destruction across the country...and the world. The elite’s power structure is on its last legs. They can’t keep the debt ball rolling.
I was trying to think of who his spoiler might be. Has Scott Walker endorsed Trump? I wondered if it could be him.
