Oh my. A recent Clout Research poll from the State of Oregon (full pdf below), not exactly well known as a bastion of all things republican, shows candidate Donald Trump beating Hillary Clinton 44 to 42%.

However, with Independent Voters, Donald Trump is CRUSHING Hillary Clinton by 27 points 53% to 26%. The Monster Vote effect:

Agreed...I see a near landslide IF it’s Hillary.....or the socialist. Biden would send seriously pissed Sanders fans toward Trump. They are screwed and may as well concede and let Hillary get drilled (as we did with Dole) and flush the Clintons for good.

I've been kinda laughing about CA being in play but the fact that Clinton is now only up about 10% in one poll whereas she had been up by 20% a while back in some other poll, and now this news out of Oregon AND Trump saying he's going for it (he has his own pollster now) maybe he might have a shot.

"Investment News" magazine did another poll of Financial Advisers a couple of weeks back. the results?

56% Trump, 35% Hillary, and 9% are staying home...

This is interesting, last summer they did a pole tide tied to an article that has disappeared "Combing through Trumps Assets" where the total on the R side was almost 64% and remaining 36% for Hillary / Bernie.

FWIW it looks like Hilda and or Bernie have gained Nothing where as about 10% say they will sit this one out.

If Trump can convince the 10% that say they will stay home or look at Libertarian or the Dog Catcher Party or whatever the 60%+ blowout my gut is telling me this election is not out of the question...

Many ex Republicans have registered as Independents in the last 10 years, they are pissed off with the establishment Republicans.

I did that in 2006 after GWB refused to push back on the evil left DemonRAT party who bashed him 24x7 all the while spewing lies about the Gulf Wars. GWB essentially handed the Congress to that evil Catholic Pielousey and "the body" Harry Reid. IT all went down hill from there thanks to one man - KARL ROVE.
