California’s high-tech business wizards like Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg are in full freak-out mode over Donald Trump, and the key to understanding why lies in the H-1B visa program. As a recent L.A. Times story titled “Donald Trump has done the unthinkable: Unite Silicon Valley” reports: Ambitious start-up CEOs who swore off talking politics for fear of offending investors are enlisting in campaigns to discredit Trump. Longtime valley Republican stalwarts who have voted for every GOP nominee for decades say they can’t do it this year. The libertarian-minded innovators who just want to get government out of their way have less faith in Trump than they do in even Hillary Clinton, the Democrat with big plans to grow the bureaucracy.

It’s nice that the Indians care for each other.

I’d bet that everyone on this board knows at least one person who’s job was lost to H1-B outsourcing or they know of a recent college graduate that can’t find work due to OPT visa abuse.

There are so many Americans out there with the appropriate skills that cannot find work due to guest worker visa abuse. As long as this is the case, they need to go home.

they ONLY hire Indians.

Truth! At a former company they hired in an Indian manager. Within months he purged everyone and replaced them with Indians. Even though some of the new hires had different last names, turned out that several were relatives.

I have seen many other things like this.

At my last company, an Indian took over as CEO (it's a company with the HQ in Texas). Since he came on board, almost all new hires have been Indians.... and it's a huge company. Funny enough, many in the upper tiers DO have the same last name as he does now. It's a corporation, with shareholders. It's not privately owned by the CEO. Stinks to high heaven.

But it's cool, the company is falling apart now.
