Mark Levin still has serious problems with Donald Trump, and today he pointed to something odd Trump’s been doing recently that could be a turn-off for conservatives.
Trump has been throwing compliments Bernie Sanders‘ way recently, saying he has some good ideas and the Democrats are being unfair to him and he should consider going third party, while at a rally yesterday Trump went back to trashing “Lyin’ Ted” Cruz.
And that really pissed off Levin, who wondered, “Does he talk about Bernie Sanders this way? He treats Bernie Sanders with an odd respect.”
He mocked the way Trump fans pivoted from praising him for agreeing to a debate with Sanders to praising him for deciding against it.

I’m with Laz on this one. Mark is just looking for a club with which to beat Trump and he’s willing to use the Left’s equation of nationalism and populism with evil to do so. Little Ben Shapiro has been spouting the same thing.
Seems to me that a lot of the dead we remember on Memorial Day likely had a good dose of nationalism and populism in them. They weren’t storming beaches for the greater glory of global free trade. And you know as well as I do that there were Battle Flags flying on US equipment in WWII, you can see them in the pictures.
Don’t spoil the story, it makes them happy to pretend that Trump said it.
I would listen to him occasionally since the time in the NE isn't right for me. But I loathed that neo-confederate crap which implied that the south was filled with anti-Semitic creeps. Of course, he doesn't know that the Confederacy was philo-semitic and had Jews in its cabinet. It was Grant - whom I generally admire - who threw the Jews out of the army.

The worst problem with foreign trade is not just currency manipulations. Countries like Japan and China impose many obstacles on high tech imports. Myriad of regulations, bureaucratic delays, and even tariffs. Whereas their manufactured goods enter the US market with little restrictions. Counterfeit goods, hazardous toys, etc come in every day from China.

Cut to the chase, Sherlock. I’ll give you one more move then dismiss you.
I tend to like Mark Levine and his commentary.
I agreed with his position on Ted Cruz and somewhat on Trump, up until a couple of days ago, when Mark made some very inconsistent errors.
Mark has recently been criticizing Trump in referencing the Judge with respect to his Mexican heritage.
Mark failed to recognize the Judge now appears to be a voting member in La Raza and several offshoots from that very racist organization. There also are reports of the San Jose Police Chief having La Raza connections.
IMHO, Mark owes Trump an apology for jumping in too quickly and in so doing, implying favoritism for some very racist organizations of bigots, who are very anti-American and enemies of our Constitution.
I suspect he was unaware of those connections.
