VENICE (CBSLA.com) — Vandals defaced a memorial to Vietnam war veterans in Venice – an awful sight on this Memorial Day weekend.
Stewart Oscars welled up as he looked at the vandalized mural located on Pacific Avenue near Sunset Court. It was covered in graffiti from end to end.
“This knocked me out. So sickening. Just sadness…think of all these people. They’re gone,” Oscars said. “I remember the Vietnam war and how friends went to war, and bodies came back. Somehow, it has to be taught that this is not a good idea. This is actually stupid.”
The memorial was dedicated to service members who were listed as missing in action during the Vietnam War...

Singapore has the best punishment for this kind of crime: public caning.
We normally set up a large display honoring veterans at a memorial park near our home starting on the Friday before Memorial Day. This year the staff felt that it was much too risky because of increased vandalism problems they have been having. They would only let us do it this year if we packed up everything each night and then set it back up in the morning. That would have meant hours of extra work each day.
In the past we have camped out at the memorial park, but the staff felt even that was too risky. I am not sure if they felt it was too risky for us or for the vandals, since we are well armed.
And after the whipping, ten days in stocks just in case any vets couldn’t make it to the whipping.
This is to be followed by 5 years in prison with no chance of parole.
Each state should introduce mandatory sentences for willful destruction of war memorials. If they don’t you’ll know immediately which states are liberal garbage dumps, as if we don’t already.
The left is cracking up all over the place. Are the majority of Americans finally awake? Well, that remains to be seen in November, but the lefty mobs are going psychotic a little earlier than usual in this election cycle.

Last fall I got to see the mobile Vietnam war Memorial presentation in my home state. It was a truly touching experience.
Venice is a liberal cesspool..used to be overrun with illegal aliens now its overrun with liberal goons
