(Title) Stephen K. Bannon to Obama: Why Dont You Go to Pearl Harbor and Apologize to the Dead Still Buried There?
Breitbart Executive Chairman and SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon opened his Breitbart News Daily radio show on Friday expressing outrage at Barack Obamas apology tour of Hiroshima.
Below is a partial transcript:
I had Japanese partners. I was a partner with Nissho Iwa for a while. They financed my merchant bank for a while when I left Goldman Sachs. I have many, many dear friends in Japan. Ive spent many years in Japan. I have sailed with the Japanese Navy when I was a Naval officer off of Korea. I have the highest regard for the Japanese, but guess what? They were devils during World War II. Okay? And we beat em. And it took a nuclear weapon.
I want everybody in this audience today whos grandparents or parents were one of the potential 1 million landing force in Japan we planned that for three years. One million men to land in Japan, and they thought the minimum casualties would be 5 million people. You have to remember something, folks. It took two nuclear weapons to bring the military junta in Japan to their knees after fire bombing them for 6 months. Two nuclear weapons. And hes over there to start Memorial Day Weekend.
Why doesnt he go to Saipan or Peleliu or Tarawa or Guadalcanal or the Coral Sea or Midway or Wake. I got a better idea. Why dont they take that presidential plane and fly into Pearl Harbor and have the President of Japan, whos lecturing a President of the United States in front of the world, why dont you go to Pearl Harbor and sit there and apologize

Obama doesn’t respect Americans... it’s been the loudest message of his eight years...
The sentiment is laudable, surely. The practicality of asking a full-blown Muslim to connect in any manner with those souls now resting on high is not.
There is no context for a Muslim to imagine anything about it, frankly. They will never come anywhere near it.
0bama: Is there a golf course nearby?
Modern illiberal “liberals” — in their eagerness to remove all punishment from the world, end up inviting more and worse punishment.
If the atom bombs were terrible, imagine an invasion of Japan. It was the grace of God that we found ourselves with a Japan willing to surrender having suffered vastly less carnage on its OWN part, than would have otherwise been needed (forget about us, just think about them).
Only a Christianized country could think like this. We forgave a repentant Japan to which we had administered a strategic spanking that they could not ignore.
I hope Christ consciousness comes back to America. There are so many advantages to it. But it can’t be a shallow, government-led religion. It has to be firm in the grass roots.
Whenever he makes his hollow, insincere gesture to honor honorable men, including touching the Medal of Honor, it totally creeps me out. I wish he’d just stay from our flag and places of honor, like Pearl Harbor and Arlington.
It is time to declare the democrat party a subversive organization and disband it.
Registered democrats should no longer be allowed to run for office or vote in elections.
My dad was stationed in Australia in WW2. Had we needed to invade Japan probably he would have been re-deployed there. Many of us Americans had relatives or selves that fought in wars. Flux you Barky boy-—you are not a traitor but an enemy.
Using fascist means? Which royal talk like this typically evokes in this modern day?
The only way the Democrat illness (and Republican for that matter) to be successfully addressed without losing the country itself, is for people to affiliate with alternatives.
The rise of Donald Trump appears well poised to be that kind of movement. Democrats are getting ready to cross the aisle to vote for him. Republicans are beginning to leave entrenched ideas of the GOP for his sake.
237 days to go.
At least this will Zero’s last Memorial Day to defile our honored dead.
Newt Gingrich has coined the current scenario you described as ‘Trump Americans’.
I.e. if people will not “ban” misbehaving political organizations from their personal affiliation, it is certainly fatuous to talk about banning them by some other action. The freedom of politics includes the freedom to invest politically in evil. If this freedom did not exist, we would not have freedom to invest politically in goodness either. “Goodness” would be forced, and soon cease to be goodness.
I wish everyone could visit the memorial there.
You see the footage of the actual bombing before going over to the actual site by transport.
The site still oozes oil.
You stand on glass to look down.
Almost everyone is silent. Just like they were at the end of “American Sniper” and “We Were Soldiers.”
Most of those men were just red-blooded Americans, a lot around 20 years old, with the wind and the future in their face.

My folks knew someone who is there still.
Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor— located where? Hawaii. Land of Bammy’s boyhood for a few seasons. If Japan won then Bammy’s precious Hawaii connections would not have ever been— not that I care a whit about that part.
When we went aboard the Arizona Memorial, and saw her sailors still aboard, my young 6 yr old son started crying and wouldn’t stop. Saying that we had to get them out, because their Moms need them. 2 Navy Waves sat down beside him. Both hugged him and started to cry.
And yet... and yet... everyone has eternity in their future.
The question for us to ask, is what KIND of eternity. Our chosen attitude in this mortal coil is a factor in shaping that. There is a God. There is a devil. God is stronger, but God won’t force us to choose either. Love would cease to be love if He did.
Why did this man or that man die at age 20. When others make it close to a century if not beyond.
If we see the big picture, it’s like asking why did this shadow suddenly go away shortly after it appeared, but why did that shadow last almost all day? It doesn’t have to do with the merit of the shadows, as though the longer lasting shadow merited more. It is the life in our years, rather than the years in our life, that ends up mattering in the end.
MLK Jr. isn't the only one who can dream.
“They also serve who only stand and wait.”
Japan understood that. They were wiped out because of what they COULD do. They were not of a vain purpose when we consider that there is a God on the Throne of heaven.
Whose dream is actually righteous?
