Obama snaps at reporter asking about Hillary Clinton’s emails

President Obama brusquely cut off a reporter’s question Thursday about Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email system at the State Department.

At a press conference in Japan, the president said he would take one more question from reporters. But when the question turned out to be about Mrs. Clinton’s emails that violated State Department rules, he quickly changed his mind.

“You know I take it back — I’m not taking another question,” Mr. Obama said. “We’re in Japan, don’t you have something to do with Asia that we want to talk about? I’ll be talking about this in Washington the whole time.”

He added, “I’ve already said a lot on those issues — I think these are better directed to the campaign.”

An inspector general found Wednesday that Mrs. Clinton did break State Department rules by setting up her own secret email server, and said she failed to report hacking attempts and waved off warnings that she should switch to a more official email account.

A reporter asked Mr. Obama whether questions about Mrs. Clinton’s use of personal email meant that she should release the texts of paid speeches she gave for Wall Street firms. The president deflected the question, addressing instead the rancor in the Democratic primary between Mrs. Clinton and Sen. Bernard Sanders, Vermont independent.

“During the course of the primary, people say things that they think will help them get some votes, and once the campaign is over, they move on,” Mr. Obama said. “The noise that is going back and forth between the candidates at this point … if you want insights into how they’re thinking about it, those [questions] should be directed to them.”

that’s why he doesn’t go to funerals; too much talking about the dead guy. he can’t stand it when he’s not the center of attention.

If Barky will just go on and croak off, we can all watch his funeral on TV and talk about him, I know I'll be talking about the treasonous sonuvabitch and how I won't be missing him for one nanosecond.

If FBI Director James Comey is the “stand-up” guy that everyone says he is, he should refer this to the DOJ for prosecution. I hope he will but I doubt it.

What is happening? Have we moved into an alternative dimension?

Reporters asking hard questions of the pResident.

Journalism breaking out at NBC & MSNBC.

Something is happening. Maybe the end of time. Maybe the apocalypse.

Mr. Obama said. “We’re in Japan, don’t you have something to do with Asia that we want to talk about?"...but that didn't stop him from answering a question about Trump, saying that he was "rattling" foreign leaders and describing him as being ignorant and ill-informed - every day I think I've seen Obama sink to a new low, and then the next he sinks even lower - even if he's too petty and mean-spirited not to avoid bad-mouthing another American while on foreign soil, he should at least think about the country - Trump is very likely to be the next president and have to deal with these foreign leaders - to attempt to bias their feelings against Trump instead of building him up to help in future relations is really disgraceful - makes him look like the office snitch who can only make himself look competent by back-stabbing all his co-workers......

There is never a good time to ask Barky a tough question - not that the media does much of that, anyway.

It does answer one question - what in the world is 0bama doing in Japan at this point? He's hiding.

This is really interesting. Trump debates Sanders, treats him with respect although disagreeing diametrically with his approach. 10 million buckadingdongs to a women's fund. Hillary bulls her way to the nomination and guess who, as the nominal leader of the Democrats, has to decide which way to jump? Because she's going to come in shrieking with every single one of her supposed power bases undercut methodically by what is looking like a brilliant performance on the part of a fellow they all thought wasn't up to it. She looks to lose, badly, but if 0bama intervenes he's going to be the one holding the bag when Biden or whoever loses as well. And if he doesn't, it's Hillary driving the ship onto the rocks. And if he doesn't keep a low profile he's going to be caught up in all that.

Hence the low profile. He's a coward. And, as the lyric goes, "if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice." I'm enjoying this.

“We’re in Japan, don’t you have something to do with Asia that we want to talk about? “....like Trump and how he’s rattling the leaders of other countries?

This is about his administration. His appointed staff. He will not take responsibility for anything.

Obama has all the time in the World to go after Trump and the Republicans while standing on Foreign Soil, but he won’t dare give a 30 Second response to anything regarding his Ex Secretary of State.

NO.

The democrats have decided Hillary must go ...
And they have started their press campaign against her: NY Times, Wash Post, MSNBC and the rest of their minions in the national ABCNNBCBS press corpse have been given permission to start mentioning the emails and the servers and the hacking now.

He’s in it up to the tops of his jug ears and he knows that the FBI knows but he doesn’t know how far Hillary will go to try and dump it all on him.
