Politico reports that Wiley got fired after clashing with Karen Giorno, who ran Florida for Trump ahead of his big win there on March 15. For weeks, Wiley made appointments and had discussions with Florida Republicans and appeared to be building a new campaign from scratch, Ken Vogel and Marc Caputo report. Sources say he refused, at times, to return Giornos calls or take them. Giorno then began calling other Trump campaign officials to ask them whether Wiley had it out for her or for everyone. On Thursday, word leaked back to Trump. He phoned Giorno, concerned. Tell me whats wrong? Trump asked her, according to one person familiar with the call. Karen unloaded on Wiley, the source said. Mr. Trump is loyal. He believed her. Rick picked a fight with the wrong person. At that point, Trump ordered Wiley to stay away from Giorno and to neither call nor email her. Donald is loyal. And shes loyal, a source said.
According to Reuters, The Donald thought Wiley negotiated a bad fundraising deal with the RNC: Trump told staffers and supporters gathered backstage before a campaign rally in California on Wednesday that Wiley should be fired for his handling of a fundraising deal with the Republican National Committee. The RNC fundraising agreement included 11 states but not Nevada. Three sources confirmed Trump said Wiley should be fired after Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael McDonald told Trump that Wiley was responsible for leaving Nevada out of the deal.
CNN says campaign chairman Paul Manafort called Wiley yesterday to tell him Trump wanted to fire him:

Consider the source.
Ping
Trump hired him, he has the right to fire him.
Just that in general people use gentler language normally. I think the media is playing it up, to try to show Trump in a bad light.
it doesn’t matter if it’s true. All Trump did was fire someone, and if that’s news to someone...
The man behind the Throne. At least at this point.
It’s OK to be wrong. It’s important to correct your mistakes quickly.
Gee a leader willing to fire people rather then ride bad decisions down in flames.
No wonder the incompetence clown posse that populates DC is terrified of Trump
BIG DEAL. This stuff goes on all the time, in all campaigns.
More bull.
OMG — WaPo compares this to the French Revolution and the guillitining of Robespierre.
Pathetic.
ICK!! ICK!! ICK!!! He looks like a CHILD MOLESTER with tht crap on his chin!! THAT shows VERY BAD JUDGEMENT!!
Sounds to me like he made the right decision once apprised of the circumstances.
Can’t wait for the government appointees he fires.
See WaPo think "In what way does this benefit Jeff Bezos".
The real question is why would Trump hire Wiley who did a terrible
job for Scott Walker.

It’s because campaign workers are routinely seen as being so indispensable or are cronies of the canidate, that firing them is a “huge deal”.
It isnt to a businessman that has to do this all of the time.
It should be a breath of fresh air to Americans, and show them that there will be no coddling in the Trump White House.
Do your job, and do it well, or you are fired.
Like it’s the 50s or something! :)
uhhhhh....one thing that folks like about Trump is his willingness to say “you’re fired” to someone who’s not getting the job done. How else can the mess in DC be cleaned up?
Loyalty and performance is all that the Donald requires.
