I had not previously heard of this Texas preacher. He was one of the Evangelicals called into that special meeting with Trump, and relates some of what transpired in their meeting with him. IMO, he makes some thought-provoking points. I enjoyed hearing a bit about what went on in that meeting!

I've never opposed Trump because he "spoke harshly." No one ever spoke more harshly than our Lord Jesus Christ. I opposed Trump, among other reasons, because he spoke falsely, with reckless abandon.

A large THANK YOU for this post. There is so much shared here which was felt but never understood completely. Who are we humans to question what tool God uses to complete a task? Trump was felt to be an answer to our prayers almost immediately. Several years ago this was not the case. Something had changed. His running felt ‘right’.

I watched it from beginning to end. Several things resonated with me. I won’t go into them because they’re between me and God and what resonates with someone else is between them and God.
Every Christian should watch it not just Cruz supporters. And every single Cruz hater should watch it.
I looked into a window of Trump’s soul during one of the debates, when Carson missed his cue to come on the stage and Trump stood with Carson in solidarity as other candidates skipped by. Totally unrehearsed and real.

THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME for Trump GOD HAS BLESSED AMERICA!!!! I understand my strong feelings for Trump NOW God has given me the insight I needed to fully support him and NOT BUDGE the way that I have!!! It is really quite AMAZING!!!!
