A judge found Baltimore police officer Edward Nero not guilty today on all four charges for his role in the events leading up to the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray.
Nero, 30, had been charged with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and two counts of misconduct in office, all stemming from his actions during the initial stop and arrest of Gray, who suffered a catastrophic spinal injury while in police custody. Gray died one week later on April 19, 2015, and his death sparked days of violent protests in Baltimore.

They're going to need plenty of space to destroy tonight!
Glad I don’t live in Baltimore.
I do hope those business owners weren’t too quick to rebuild.
Who will the DO”J” target now?
So many choices of innocent Americans.
They’re going to need a lot of traffic control to deal with the massive influx of liberal media types trying to get into town this afternoon.
They need to charge the prosecutors for prosecutorial misconduct.

Let the shopping begin.
I am eager to find out how Trump will choose to put down the ferals once he becomes President.
Let the shopping begin.
__________
Is there anyplace left in that hood to even go shopping?
One trial down, there are still some additional hearings for other officers coming up. Next one is in a few weeks. God protect Baltimore.
Gov. Hogan should deploy the National Guard ASAP for the inevitable. The hooligans are collecting their rocks and other projectiles right now, I’m sure.
...They need to charge the prosecutors for prosecutorial misconduct....
Nothing like a Stalinist political prosecution. At least, no one owns that Judge.
Has the Socialist in Chief weighed in on this yet.
No, “The Judge acted stupidly” yet?
Why was this decided by a judge, and not by a jury? Given that it was, it’s difficult to decide whom to root for in the upcoming melee. A bunch who often rallies behind criminals, or an unaccountable power structure which will do almost anything to protect one of their own, even when negligence if not outright abuse or other criminal action seems to be present.
“They need to charge the prosecutors for prosecutorial misconduct.”
I haven’t been following the details of hearings. What misconduct are you referring to? Thanks in advance.
I think it’s the defendant’s choice.
The CVS has been reopened !
OBVIOUSLY the white Republican Governor of Maryland! As soon as he makes any move to insure law and order, he will be repressing the BLM and that is a definite Civil Rights wrong, you know!
The defendant made a wise choice in choosing to be tried before one judge.
