Washington State holds its Republican primary on Tuesday, and with one candidate left in the race, there's not too much drama about the outcome. But in a twist — and what would the 2016 race be without a twist? — 40 of Washington's 41 delegates selected Saturday to attend the Republican National Convention in July are Ted Cruz partisans. Cruz supporters outnumbered Donald Trump supporters at the state GOP convention in Pasco, and they were better organized, pushing through the Cruz slate of delegates over occasional protests from Trump backers, who noted repeatedly that Cruz is no longer in the race.

I sent him money early on and was a strong advocate for a Trump/Cruz ticket. Iowa shenanigans, Beck, Bush,Romney backers, chronic lies, and seeing Cruz’ lack of concern when Carly fell off the stage told me this guy is a total dirt bag, POS. On second thought (it takes me awhile), Dangerous Donald is indeed dangerous: for the plans the communists have for the country. He’s dangerous to the GOPe. He’s dangerous for the Chamber of Commerce’s plans. He’s dangerous to the democrat party, etc etc. So there are plenty of ways he can turn that brand to his advantage. Owning something negative can be a powerful positive. I hope DJT knows how to do that.

WA State will go big for Trump tomorrow and the delegates are bound to vote for Trump on the first ballot.
If they can’t, the convention will revoke their credentials and seat a Trump slate in their place.
