Friday, May 20, 2016: Donald Trump will deliver remarks at the National Rifle Association-Institute for Legislative Actions (NRA-ILA) Leadership Forum in Louisville, KY.
There will be several speakers attending the forum listed below. Full coverage of the event from 1:00-5:00 PM EDT via the NRA.
I'm not sure when Trump is scheduled to speak, but we will post as soon as we know.
While I understand the explanation, I’m really not ok with shooting elephants. Or big cats. I’m ok with hunting and killing animals but not some of those special ones, that’s just how I feel. Especially posing proudly beside a dead elephant. I have emotional issues over it.
Hm. What about spending the night in a hotel there? Thinking, counting my pennies.... Thanks for that info.
are there two threads for the NRA Event today?
He was governor. Smokes a joint or two daily. Believes in open border. Maybe the American people need to know a lot more about him.
Yaelle, there are many large hotels within walking distance of the convention center. It is a beautiful area close the gas lamp quarter. That would work for parking!
Looks like Koch are NOT contributing to dope head

I think they are too young and will be bored stiff. Need to think. Will I ever get to a Trump rally?
So they have a friend they could spend the day with?
I am a small-l libertarian Republican, and I don’t even like Gary Johnson. And not looking to start a fight with the “moral majority” on FR, but I have to ask...why do so many Republicans have a problem with marijuana, but they are okay with mass ingestion of cigarettes, alcohol, coffee, or pain medicine? Just because one is not “legal,” and the others are? I’ve always thought, as a Republican, we should be for less government and regulation, not more.
A trip to zoo with another adult while you attend the rally would be fun for all
Not that I know of.
Thanks for the ping.
I agree; however, if Trump refuses he’d be seen as a big meanie, not supporting Libertarians, against free speech, yada yada... Now, if Hillary did so, it would be great :-)
He didn’t make it last election, wish he’d get out and urge all Libertarians to support Trump.
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 18m18 minutes ago New York, NY Donald J. Trump Retweeted NRA I am on my way! See you all soon! Donald J. Trump added, NRA @NRA RT if you'll be watching the @NRAILA Leadership Forum! Check http://NRAILA.org for a livestream! #NRAAM
If you had seen Johnson on a news program the other night you wouldn’t have asked. He was so high - not coherent etc.
I have no problem with a person using material under doctors supervision BUT there is no way a person as high as he was should be driving
vehicles and doing any job that might endanger themselves or others.
Had a crew putting on roof who smoked their lunch. Got lots done in morning. Nothing in afternoon but I still had to pay them for sliding around on my roof coming too close to edge on too many occasions
Great! Thanks for the update HM!
I suspect that Eric and Don Jr will be coming with him, since they are both NRA members. He brought them and Don’s wife on stage last year and Don Jr said a few words.
Yes, maybe something like that. Immthinkin !
I always enjoy watching his family members participate...
I agree HM. Plus, I’ve heard a few doctors on the radio and TV saying the pot today is quite different than that from the 60’s and 70’s. Could be a lot of other things in it and it’s much stronger. Don’t smoke it and don’t want to, so don’t know. I don’t have an issue so much if people want to do it in their own homes, don’t operate machinery or do anything that would injure themselves or someone else, and don’t drive, but that’s not always the case.
I’ve heard briefly here and there that since they legalized pot in WA State, there is still a black market for it because of the tax imposed on that sold in the stores. Who knows what is in that stuff.
