I am a small-l libertarian Republican, and I don’t even like Gary Johnson. And not looking to start a fight with the “moral majority” on FR, but I have to ask...why do so many Republicans have a problem with marijuana, but they are okay with mass ingestion of cigarettes, alcohol, coffee, or pain medicine? Just because one is not “legal,” and the others are? I’ve always thought, as a Republican, we should be for less government and regulation, not more.
If you had seen Johnson on a news program the other night you wouldn’t have asked. He was so high - not coherent etc.
I have no problem with a person using material under doctors supervision BUT there is no way a person as high as he was should be driving
vehicles and doing any job that might endanger themselves or others.
Had a crew putting on roof who smoked their lunch. Got lots done in morning. Nothing in afternoon but I still had to pay them for sliding around on my roof coming too close to edge on too many occasions
For the records am not OK with alcohol, cigarettes , perscriptions (antihistamine can be deadly too) Coffee is equal with power drinks and Cola and should be limited too
The worse of all is sugar. Cane sugar in particular. It causes all types of major illnesses. And is thought to be the primary trigger for addiction by some
It has nothing to do with morales. It has to do with maintaining good health.
Not a legal issue. A health issue
