Friday, May 20, 2016: Donald Trump will deliver remarks at the National Rifle Association-Institute for Legislative Action’s (NRA-ILA) Leadership Forum in Louisville, KY.
There will be several speakers attending the forum listed below. Full coverage of the event from 1:00-5:00 PM EDT via the NRA.

Thank you both for bringing this discussion here. I’ve seen several good videos about health and liberty. No question, HM, the items you state can be harmful and cause disease. Monsanto altering God’s foods with their “frankenfood” GMO’s don’t help!
More and more laws trying to limit people’s freedom, trying to micro manage their lives, has not worked. People still drink (Prohibition failed), smoke, take drugs (War on Drugs failed), and eat bad food (soda taxes fail).
All these laws have done is to create a People at war with their government. The Drug War transformed our formerly friendly neighborhood Peace Officers into Law Enforcement Swat Teams with tanks. People pay endless taxes to enforce laws that don’t change behavior, and have only filled out jails and ruined people’s lives… and yet people STILL decide to take drugs, drive while drunk, etc.
I read about how healing, curing, and pain-relieving cannabis is (search “Rick Simpson”), and how Big Pharma pushes for more restrictive laws because they don’t like “competition” eating into their profits, and wonder where it’s all going to lead.
I wonder about the concept of people telling other people what to do with their lives. Thomas Jefferson, (1963 Comptons Encyclopedia) talks about how elites with power and arrogance make laws because they think they “know better” than the people themselves what is best for them. I used to have that quote on my old computer, which is gone.
To me, whether or not things are good or bad for people is irrelevant. If someone wants to grow a plant, eat or smoke a plant, or sell a plant, I don’t consider that any of my business.
John Adams told us quite clearly that this Republic is meant ONLY for a deeply religious and moral people, and that it is wholly unsuited for any other. With such a populace, these laws are unnecessary because moral people self-regulate.
IMO, the answer isn’t more and more draconian laws resulting in more criminals and less freedom. The answer is re-establishing the moral, self-regulating people of which our founding nation was comprised.

You may want to double check the source for that information. The daily caller put that story out yesterday. Koch is not funding any POTUS candidate.

It’s going to be fun watching Trump draw tens of thousands to rallies across the country while Hillary is hard-pressed to get more than a few hundred. Crowd size was a huge psychological factor in the 2008 campaign. 0bama was drawing massive crowds, and McCain was struggling to get even 2,000. McCain’s biggest rally by himself was only 10,000, and that was in Miami the night before election day.

I’m sure that she has it, it was posted here. The elephant was legal. The mature males needed to be culled from the herd. Without elephant game management control they starve to death or run amok in farmland destroying a seasons crops, homes, & fences.
Hunters for the Hungry is an international program as well as here in the states. That elephant meat can feed an entire village for a month or longer.
The money brought to rural Africa through the legal hunting of mature elephants helps to fund anti-poaching teams and preserve the land to ensure their long term survival. Poaching is relatively under control in most parts of Africa.
But human sprawl and habitat destruction is not. This is the real enemy when it comes to the preservation of natural resources and the Elephants. Money from hunters fund the preservation of the few remaining wild places on earth.

Yep, but I have every belief that Sessions is one intelligent and insightful man. With Trump in the mix, Mitch would be opening a firestorm to go back on his word. Of course that wouldn’t stop him, but I believe he is being watched, closely.
