McCain In Deep Trouble in GOP Primary; Trump, Clinton Close in AZ
PPP ^ | 5/17/16 | Tom Jensen

Posted on 05/17/2016 12:42:34 PM PDT by BigEdLB

PPP's new Arizona poll finds that John McCain has a negative approval rating with Republican primary voters, and is at pretty serious risk of losing nomination for another term. Only 35% of GOP voters approve of the job McCain is doing to 50% who disapprove. He's in particularly poor standing with conservative voters. Among 'somewhat conservative' voters his approval spread is 33/52, and among 'very conservative' voters it drops all the way down to 18/67.

Ms. Lindsay would be so upset to lose McStupid, she might just quit in a snit.

The problem in AZ is more and more liberal Californians are moving here because cali has gotten too expensive plus they can buy a really nice house for what they sell their CA house for and add a lot of cash to their retirement as well. They are a real pain in the ass and very vocal in the local small town newspapers.

Liberalism is a malignant cancer and it’s spreading fast.

Once McCain is out of the way, Arizona will have a fulltime blue senator.

Disapproval ratings don’t mean much, Trump and Hillary have higher negatives yet one of them will win. (hint:Trump)

The Media has to be loving this in AZ.
McCain will spend his last dollar and his wife’s last dollar to get re elected.
They have a lot of dollars.

DON'T. Ward's immigration stance is posted elsewhere here, but even if she is weak in some area, and doesn't meet the "purist" standards, vote against McCain by voting for her.

In the 2010 primary, J.D. Hayworth didn't meet the purists' standards and so McCain won. How did THAT work out?

This is a 10-15 point Trump win when the Republicans coalesce.

If McCain wins, he will punish Arizona for the next 6-years.

Time to get him out of there.

Strange how this thread and the pdf of the poll have Trump up by just 2 points when Real Clear Politics has Trump up by 4 points (45 to 41)!

Have Arizonans gotten wise to the bait-and-switch Juan pulls every six years?
Juan’s Pon Farr. Every six years he goes into a conservative frenzy. Upon being re-elected, he reverts to his real persona: media pal, Dem friend and “moderate” pain in the ***.
