An openly gay pastor who claimed that a grocery store bakery wrote a homophobic message on his cake has dropped his lawsuit against Whole Foods, claiming he made up the story, according to news reports.

I noticed in the video that the hoaxer actually made an overt effort to not look at the cake box as he put it on the counter and picked it back up.
That struck me as strange behavior, as most people would have their eyes on the product the whole time.
Carrying around a personalized cake is a bit more personal than carrying around a head of cabbage, for example.
Whole Foods is actually formed and owned by some Republican/Libertarian type from what I understand.

Besides reviewing what the Bible has to say about homosexuality and bearing false witness, this Christian fraud should look at what Psalm 37:21 has to say about not repaying debt.
Psalm 37:21 - "The wicked borrow money and do not repay but the righteous give generously."
This "pastor" needs to find a new profession.
And once again, the homo-hoaxers are made to pay no price for their hateful attacks. Since Whole Paycheck is sodomite-friendly, continuing with their lawsuit would have seemed “mean to the little thin-skinned queers.”
Yep, pretty close to it. I think the "hate crime" statistics are padded with sodomites claiming" that others were just mean to them, or that they didn't get the job they were not qualified to get in the first place.
You could totally eradicate hate crimes if you just eliminated the hoaxes.

Here in San Francisco, homos are getting beat up on city streets. Goes against the stereotype of SF, but homo population has gone down over the last couple decades and families are moving in. The latinos in the Mission District are predominantly straight, and there are beatings of gays.
I wonder... was it Ross Perot's "Crazy Ain't In The Basement" that started all the anti-GMOshun as I peruse this MarketWatch.com artickle. Now I guess I'll have to go and ping the other two commontators!!!

What's your point? Genetically modified foods aren't harmful? Who knows. The science is hidden. You only get the story one side or the other wants you to hear. I don't rely on them. I use my own judgment. A free ranging chicken from Whole Foods tastes a hell of a lot better than those raised in tiny coops that you buy in a brand name supermarket. You can see the wads of fat on those chickens. Spare me your disdain for Whole Foods.
I have a friend who is crazy on this GMO thing. I try to tell him about the the potato and you can tell he may have slept through high school biology. When the Spanish found them in 1537, they were misshapen and bitter tubers about the size of peanuts. The Incas, not knowing the potato’s nature, would eat the larger tubers and use the smaller ones to grow more of them. Not knowing that they were encouraging the smaller tubers through natural selection, the potato were smaller than what we get from Idaho. The bitter taste was once worse, and even toxic. However, the early Incas would select the better, less toxic ones until they had developed through natural selection, an edible food. That natural selection duplicates the genetic manipulations now done by scientists. Those changes to the potato created a food that is one of the most important food products on earth. GMOs will speed up that genetic process.
How does this relate to the gay movement? I see their choices a kind of natural selection process. If there is a gay gene, that gene will be eliminated from the gene pool as their lifestyle causes them not to reproduce. Maybe the real gene will be the gene for stupidity. We could use less of those genes. We want the big potatoes, not the small bitter ones.
Will he be prosecuted?
