Air Force fighters and bombers are soaring into the wild blue yonder with new paint jobs, quietly reviving an old tradition.
The decorative painting and designs on the noses and wings of Air Force planes may not be as racy as they were during World War II, but they are just as meaningful, the Air Force Times reports.
This is a tradition across the Air Force," Col. Jeff Smith, commander of the 173rd Fighter Wing in Klamath Falls, Ore., told the newspaper. This truly is a source of morale and pride, especially for the dedicated crew chief to know that they have a little mark of themselves on the airplane.
It took 31 days to transform one of the units dull gray F-15 Eagles into a colorful work of art, commemorating the Oregon Air National Guards 75th Anniversary, the Air Force Times reported.

When the first snowflake is offended and makes an official complaint, this fad will be over.
The little darlings.
“It would be nice if some posters checked them out on line before making comments.”
LOL, that “Lets Roll’ really gets the crews horny I bet. A US Flag, and Eagle bird, and a golden sword. That should have been “Spread Eagle”. You really don’t get what nose art is. It isn’t a politically correct thing that your momma would enjoy seeing.
It would be nice if some posters knew nose art isn’t something the political officer would approve of. It’s sexy, sexual, fun, gaudy, and downright embarrassing. It’s done by 21 year olds who don’t get it approved. lol
My favorite kind.
Until some fairy G.I. complains and the one that painted the nose is courts-martialed for offending the weaker sexual deviant.
Aircraft nose art must be politically correct per Obamas Air Force.

So many of them seemed to use either Vargas or Petty as their template to start from.
Undoubtedly far, far too heterosexual for today’s faggotized military.

How ‘bout the B-52’s, B-1s, KC-135s and C-130s. No comment on those? Just slamm one patriotic logo and call it a day.
Ping.
The “lets roll” logo is a silly government propaganda logo.
And I looked at the B-1 as an example. I saw psycho clowns, eagles throwing bombs, and a few weirdo/violence/menace things that looked like biker tattoos. I didn’t see a single teat, nipple, or see thru nightie. No sultry looks, nothing anyone would want to race home to.
Fail.
Apparently vhoever wrote those rules never saw the Private SNAFU**) military training cartoons written by Dr.Seuss and directed by the likes of Chuck Jones...
