Trump campaign eyes #NeverTrump blacklist:
Politico ^ | 5/13/2016 | Kenneth P. Vogel and Ben Schreckinger

Candidates’ aides and allies want anti-Trump vendors barred from lucrative general-election contracts.

Donald Trump’s campaign is considering hitting his Republican enemies where it hurts: Their wallets. As Trump moves to work in closer concert with the Republican National Committee apparatus, some campaign aides and allies are pushing him to block lucrative party contracts from consultants who worked to keep him from winning the nomination, according to four sources familiar with the discussions.

“The Never Trump vendors and supporters shouldn’t be in striking distance of the RNC, any of its committees or anyone working on behalf of Donald Trump,” said a Trump campaign official.

The blacklist talk — which sources say mostly targets operatives who worked for Never Trump groups, but also some who worked for Trump’s GOP presidential rivals or their supportive super PACs — strikes against a Republican consulting class that Trump has assailed as a pillar of a corrupt political establishment. It’s a sweet bit of turnabout for Trump aides and consultants who in recent months were warned that their work for the anti-establishment billionaire real estate showman could diminish their own career prospects.

If Trump’s team makes good on the blacklist, it could elevate a whole new crop of vendors, while penalizing establishment operatives who attacked him, often in deeply personal terms. But it also could put Trump’s campaign at a competitive disadvantage as it scrambles to quickly beef up capabilities in highly technical campaign tactics that it largely eschewed in the primary, including voter data, direct mail and phone banking. Newly minted presidential nominees typically install staff at their respective parties’ national committees, and have been known to steer contracts to at least some of their favored vendors, which often provokes backlash.

GD,

Add 11th Commandment to the list.
He rode the bolt, without even giving an opus.

Here is a start for you. Easy to replace the background and make it the oval office.

Waiting for the Photoshop of Trump in the Oval Office at his desk, sitting on the Iron Throne.

He will feel very confined by the small size of that historic desk. I imagine he will continue to have a larger workroom where he can stack his piles of reading materials, and will revere the desk, but only use it ceremonially. Here is an early (in the campaign) video of his actual office:

Donald Trump's Tour of His Manhattan Office

I’d say the Trump just threw the spirit of unity under the bus and backed over it.

Unity, as defined by marxists, is that everyone is equal and has equal access to rewards based on nothing — they are just entitled, with or without effort, loyalty, virtue or diligence.

Unity, as defined by republican free marketers, is that people with the best track record, motivation, perserverance, integrity and work ethic — not just working hard, but working smart —can rise and have access to rewards.

I think you have equality confused with Unity.

When fighting an enemy its usually better not to tell those who are on your side to jump off a bridge.

LOL!

Makes me realize how much I miss the Trump rallies.....

As for the #NeverTrump-ers, they called down the thunder, and now they've got it.

The old operatives were a waste of our time and efforts.

Very true, Jane.

We have lost 25 years, and almost our nation.

Trump has unmasked all of this, and personally paid for the effort.

I am grateful.

I do not have equality confused with unity; not in the slightest. But by all means, be sure to contact the Trump campaign and lecture the billionaire businessman about organizational dynamics, tactics and strategy.

“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”
........................................................
Is it any wonder that Trump has said over and over that if we have to go to war we will NOT be telling the enemy every plan and everything we intend to do?

As far as striking fast, i love the Patton quote, “I’d rather have a good plan today than a perfect plan three weeks from now.” This was one of the major differences of styles between Patton and Montgomery. Patton moved fast and struck like a thunderbolt. Montgomery built up his forces over time to an overwhelming force before he moved. And then he always moved cautiously...too cautiously. it is hy Rommel , after his defeat at El Alamein, managed to withdraw in an orderly fashion and very rapidly until he succeeded in saving his troops from capture. Montgomery was afraid of Rommel, always fearing a trap and Rommel knew his enemy and profited by it.

Have had a copy of Sun Tzu for many many years.

Thanks for your post. Enjoyed it.
