“I believe Goldman Sachs gave Cruz a loan for around $1 million for money to be used in this campaign.”

And the details of the “loan” have not been made public. Neither has the details of the $500K to the Carly campaign.

“Does it seem like he is really spinning out of control?”

Yes it does seem that way. Kind of psychotic.

“..talk about a guy who was terribly over-rated.”

You know, that’s the word I was looking for. Lyin’ Ted was over-rated!”

Good point guys.

Well it is Friday the 13th.

“Greta van sustern has pointed out that Cruz ignored or turned down numerous invites to be on her program”

And other programs as well. Only in the last weeks of his campaign would Ted go on the Sunday shows. Then Cruz blames the media for giving Trump all the air time. Bwahahahaha

“Wow. Fox was pro-Trump? Not the Fox I saw. Turned them off because of the arrogant, snide anti-Trump bias.”

For the most part you are correct. I can think of 3 on Fox that gave Donald a fair shake. All the others were anti-Trump.

Hahahahaha, that is a good one.

“In fact, when it comes to getting a message across, on communication, he is pretty close to Cheetos Faceroll Stupid.”

Ted does have a lot of strengths. However in the end it was his weaknesses that brought him down.

Trump has to win or he certainly is going to go away. The man is 70 years old.

In this case, Trump's age is irrelevant. Trump is not looking for a career in politics. If he lost, that would be it. Trump is running because he truly believes that the problems facing this country are solvable and he has the ability to solve them. IMO, Trump is one of only a few in this race who cares more about that then furthering a political career. I'd put Dr. Ben Carson in that group as well. It's patriots vs. politicians.

Cruz hasn't accepted that HE LOST because of the media.
The moment media focused on Cruz, he couldn’t handle it.

Excellent point......Cruz's big chance, he muffed it and cant accept it.

He was clueless that the reasons he couldn't be president
were coming across the airwaves like gangbusters.

I think that is a very fair summary of where many of us are, and how we came to our conclusions. I also like Trump’s table of critics, foreign and domestic. This is like a political Ragnarok, and Cruz is Loki.

“They gave her a promotion and that salary just 9 days after he was elected with the help of money from a loan, whose terms and conditions have never been seen because Cruz still, to this day, has not filed the paperwork.”

Anointed Consistent Constitutional Conservatives who reflect the face of God are not bound by such mundane trivialities.

Red flags for me when he was the ONLY member of Congress to fly to South Africa for Nelson Mandela’s funeral.....disingenuous, false, cloying

Or when he gave out soccer balls & etc to the thousands of illegal children pouring in.......and Freepers were on street corners and overpasses protesting

and when he said Sessions ‘was wrong’ about TPP......

That one really tipped me, and I became depressed that there was no one .....no one who really cared

Until I heard Donald J Trump on June 16, 2015

HOORAY

Well said, and may I add that Trump was self funded, which is a shot out of the ball park, for this political class.

Ted Cruz just can’t give up on the dream:

Ted Cruz’s Father:

Rafael Bienvenido Cruz
Cruz left the Roman Catholic Church in 1975 and became a born-again Christian after attending a Bible study with a colleague. Explaining his conversion, Cruz stated in an interview with The National Review, “The people at the Bible study had a peace that I could not understand, this peace in the midst of trouble. I knew I needed to find that peace by finding Jesus Christ.” Following his conversion, his son and wife also became born-again Christians. In the Cruz home, talk at dinner time was frequently about the Bible.[20]
Cruz works from his home in Carrollton, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, as a traveling preacher[21][22] and public speaker, campaigning as a surrogate for his son during the 2016 Presidential campaign season.[23][24] In a 2014 Associated Press story, Cruz was quoted as saying, “I have a burden for this country and I feel that we cannot sit silent.” He went on to say that he feels “It’s time we stop being politically correct and start being biblically correct.”[24]
About his political involvements in the 1980s, Cruz reflected, “I was on the state board of the Religious Roundtable, a Christian and Jewish religious organization that worked to elect Ronald Reagan.” At the time, he told his son, “God has destined you for greatness.”[23][25]
At the New Beginnings Church in Irving, Texas, in August 2012, Cruz delivered a sermon where he described his son’s senatorial campaign as taking place within a context where Christian “kings” were anointed to preside over an “end-time transfer of wealth” from wicked people to the righteous. Cruz urged the congregation to “tithe mightily” to achieve that result.[26] During an interview conducted by the Christian Post in 2014, Cruz stated, “I think we cannot separate politics and religion; they are interrelated. They’ve always been interrelated.”[27] Salon described Cruz as a “Dominionist, devoted to a movement that finds in Genesis a mandate that ‘men of faith’ seize control of public institutions and govern by biblical principle.”[28]
