Feh.
My mom drank and smoked and I turned out to be humanity’s greatest hope.

My adopted brother has fetal alcohol syndrome. If true, this is perverse and appalling. I would lose my job rather than serve a pregnant woman.

The AMA is going to go ballistic on this one.
So should NOW but I won't hold my breath.

What, you think the bar is private property or something?
What silly old 20th Century notions, this is Obamerica!

But dont order a soft drink of more than 12 oz.. And for God's sake, don't let them use e-cigarettes. Chuck Schumer told us this weekend that there have been 4 (OMG!) cases of e-cigs "exploding." Gotta get the FDA involved, of course....

Why can’t a private business decide these things for itself? It’s getting to the point that the government might as well nationalize all businesses and put their owners and employees on the public payroll.

I would lose my job rather than serve a pregnant woman. Then you would be eating cold ramen in a ditch, and the pregnant woman would still get served.
Not much win for you there.

“I always thought that bars could refuse service to ANYONE.”
So could pizzarias and bakeries, until recently.

I thought this HAD to be April Fool’s Day. Then realized it was May 9th.

Why couldn’t De Blasio clarify that forcing people to drive with their seatbelts on is a form of discrimination against people who don’t like seatbelts and is therefore forbidden?

Good point! The baby might want a Shirley Temple, and the “Mom” might want a Cosmopolitan , a la Sex and the City.

I have always thought it overboard to ban all drinking in pregnant mothers. Are you suggesting that a fetus should be able to consume alcohol before they are even born?!!! Why, I never.....

So should NOW but I won't hold my breath.NOW would just remind pregnant drinkers that they can always abort.

Are you my son? I doubt it, I talked to mom about an hour ago and this didn't really come up.
