Hillary Clinton Targets Republicans Turned Off by Donald Trump
NY Times ^ | May 6, 2016 | AMY CHOZICK

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is trying to seize on the turmoil Donald J. Trump’s ascent has caused within the Republican Party — hoping to gain the support of Republican voters and influential party leaders, including former elected officials and retired generals disillusioned by their party’s standard-bearer.

The efforts come after the House speaker, Paul D. Ryan, on Thursday said he was “just not ready” to back Mr. Trump, comments the Clinton campaign giddily blasted out in an email and on social media. At the same time, Priorities USA Action, a “super PAC” supporting Mrs. Clinton, intends to reach out to Republican megadonors disillusioned by their party’s presumptive nominee.

More broadly, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign is repositioning itself, after a year of emphasizing liberal positions and focusing largely on minority voters, to appeal to independent and Republican-leaning white voters turned off by Mr. Trump.

The average percent of Republicans that vote Democrat is about 10%. This year because of hatred for Hillary Clinton it will be about 7%. The percentage of Democrats voting Republican is about the same on average. This year it will balloon to about 12% and crush her because the swing will be in states she can’t afford to lose.

If those Republicans fall for Hillary, they were never Republicans. Paul Ryan is a certified A$$hole and he proves it daily. Sad to see my party self-destruct but I think that it was inevitable. The last few candidates have been opportunists at best. Grow some testicles and begin to fight for conservative values, not NWO, Globalism, etc.!

Not a chance Hillary. I was a Cruz voter, but will pull the lever for Trump in November with great pleasure.

I also agree with Trump’s observation about you’re being “Low Energy” and I think you don’t have enough gas in the tank to make it to November.

Hell I’d bet a few freepers are down with it.
I wonder what will feel worse for them, a vote (direct or indirect,) for hilldabeast or wishing they had voted for Trump. I hope any of the never Trump peeps make a comment to me again.

I am a registered Republican and I am turned of by Trump. She can “target” me all she wants, she ain’t getting my vote. Neither will Bernie nor any 3rd party RINO that runs.

As much as I disdain Trump, he is now the only one who can stop Hillary, so I will do my part and hold my nose and vote for Trump.

“We have a choice: Trump or Hillary.”

Trump or: increased funding to Planned Infant Murderhood; more Obamacare; a gutted coal industry along with a plethora of `globull warming’ boondoggle contracts to her buddies; a military even further degraded by perversion; even more spend, spend, spend/tax, tax, tax; conservatives (if not `Republicans’—she’ll eat them last) targeted for persecution; gun confiscation and CWII; amnesty and the right wing of Uniparty, `Republicans,’ no longer needed so frozen out; a steady stream of executive orders from Her Heinous .... this `choice’ is like, `Do I kiss my sister, or do I take four years of a couple dozen hits daily in the `nads from Chuck Norris’s nun chuks?

Paul Ryan & Co. have no bargaining chips, so unless they want the above terrible things—and more—for America, they’ve got to stop pretending and bluffing. Game over.
Beat Hillary you Bozos!

What’s so ironic about all of this is that some of the “GOP” people who are actually “biting” are people who the left has made strong arguments against for some time. Take the Koch brothers, for example. You have had one left wing Democrat after another make strong arguments against the Koch brothers. That said, the followers of the left carry the perception that they are the “epitome of evil.” Also remember that “in politics perception is reality.” Now, if they support Hillary, after all that has been said against them, then all of the people who really do believe that the Koch brothers are the epitome of evil will be turned off even more by Hillary because it will make her look more like another Mitt Romney than another Barack Obama.

I think it is obvious now that Ryan only withdrew his name for consideration after he realized there would not be a brokered convention.
