I was way back in line but the VIP section was fenced off and empty. SO I stood directly behind it. When they moved us up and opened the second gate I wormed myself to the front

Yep. Before, it was always lesser of two evils, and the GOP side was making excuses (or lying) for not implementing what it claimed to stand for. The "uniparty" label was pretty accurate, and certainly some members of the GOP will be more comfortable, for various reasons, trying to make their way in the DEM party.

That label, "conservative," is used to mislead people. It has too many different meanings. I saw a post, probably on another thread, that said something to the effect of "I didn't know that conservative meant to be in favor of engaging in foreign wars."
I like the realignment that Trump has put in play. America vs, the globalists who see America as a resource, not as a nation. The business analogy works. Romney got wealthy by buying existing healthy companies, milking them and breaking them up. That's the globalist way, poach the fruits of other people's hard work. In contrast, Trump is a builder and creator, from the ground up. Take some resources, hard work, and make something better.

I was wondering how Trump was going to get from Omaha to Eugene and have a rally in three hours time.
Then I realized he will gain time flying West.
He’ll still be on Eastern time for the Eugene rally, meaning it will be 10 o’clock for him.
Just wow.
If Trump is successful, establishment RINOs like Kristol will have little, if any, influence and will slink off to their darkness.
It becomes important for Trump to not appoint any Establishmentarian (i.e. Cruz) into power positions - from VP to SCOTUS - to avoid them from undermining his/our revolution.
Off to torture myself at my fitness club...hopefully I survive to participate in the rally threads.

She has such a soft and disarming way of engaging others, they reveal too much! She knows it too. I used to listen to her regularly, I forget why I stopped. I listen to very little in the way of political talk for a few years, just had enough, not entertaining. Trump changes that at least until the excitement subsides. Still, teevee is on TCM mostly, baseball a little bit. Car radio used to be always music, but now I listen to whatever talking head is on the local talkie, even if I disagree with them. My car time is limited, no commute, so just trips to the store, bank, etc., sometimes road trips. Local talkie has Beck, Limbaugh, Howie Carr.

My eyes teared up watching before the rally started as I saw all the miners with their hats on.
I come from a working class family, and worked in a machine shop to put myself through college, first in my family to get a college degree, third generation from immigrants, on both sides.
WV has been so devastated by the Dems ridiculous war on coal.
I so identified with them that it was an involuntary reaction on my part.
Yet here comes a Park Avenue billionaire who identifies with the common man and those folks adored him last night.
He told them he would put them back to work, and he meant it.
