A pro-Donald Trump tow truck driver refused to a help a disabled customer stranded on Interstate 26 in Asheville, North Carolina on Monday because she supports Bernie Sanders.
"Something came over me, I think the Lord came to me, and he just said, 'Get in the truck and leave,'" said Ken Shupe of Shupee Max Towing in Traveler's Rest, South Carolina. "And when I got in my truck, you know, I was so proud, because I felt like I finally drew a line in the sand and stood up for what I believed."

He “thinks” ???
If he doesn’t know the voice of God then it wasn’t God...
when God speaks to you, you KNOW it was God...there’s no room for doubt..
In 2008 (IIRC) I attended FreeRepublic’s gathering in DC. On my way out on Sunday morning, I hit an unexpected detour and, being unfamiliar with DC, was left driving in circles for at least an hour trying to find my way out to the highway. I was starting to get frantic.
Eventually I stopped at a store for directions. The store clerks were too busy, but a man in the parking lot whose car was covered with Obama/Biden bumper stickers took time to very kindly point me in the right direction, explaining the route to me in detail. I never forgot that I guess. Of course, I didn’t have any bumper stickers on MY car . . .
25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. Teacher, he asked, what must I do to inherit eternal life?
26 What is written in the Law? he replied. How do you read it?
27 He answered, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind[c]; and, Love your neighbor as yourself.[d]
28 You have answered correctly, Jesus replied. Do this and you will live.
29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, And who is my neighbor?
30 In reply Jesus said: A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[e] and gave them to the innkeeper. Look after him, he said, and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.
36 Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?
37 The expert in the law replied, The one who had mercy on him.
Jesus told him, Go and do likewise.

I was referring to the tow truck driver...
he wasn’t asked to bake a cake celebrating same sex marriage...
Maybe it depends on where you live. Ethnic groups didn’t get along that well, and I guess there was a lot of hostility in the Vietnam era, but in the forties or fifties, I don’t think partisan hatreds were as strong as they are today.
You feel that this Scripture vindicates this “Samaritan’s” publicly and loudly causing damage to the tow-truck driver while he did her no harm?
You know if the tow-truck driver was Jewish or a Christian?
...abortionists.
You’re right, it does hit me oddly.
There are spirits of self righteousness afoot as well as spirits of righteousness.
If I want to stand for some principle for my own benefit but I’m aware the Lord urges something different in the bible, the Lord may pardon me, but the Lord won’t excuse it, I still have to get my attitude right before I can see maximal blessings.
Self righteous moralizers sometimes fantasize this but seldom does it actually come to pass.
But you judge too, so you sit in the same seat.
No politician is perfect; should your friends’ efforts come to naught because of Donald Trump being lax towards bathrooms or towards remarriage?
Jesus speaks for himself pretty clearly and his words cut B.S. like a knife.
Her wrong does not excuse his wrong...
It would match up with the bible, at the least.
I can judge perfectly here because it is a categorical bible statement. You cannot escape the situation of being judged by the same standard you judge
The bible told me I can say this. “Everyone will be punished for his own sin.”
