My Gut: Trump Beats Hillary in Landslide. (Rush)

But we'll get into all that. Let me give you one little thing: My instinctive feeling right now is that Trump is gonna win, beat Hillary badly, that it could be landslide proportions.

I still don't think people understand why Trump won this. I don't think they understand at all the reason people support Trump. And the deeper people are entrenched in politics, and the more they are accustomed to the templates and the handbooks and the theories and the playbooks, the less they're gonna understand it. The more they try to plug Donald Trump and his campaign and his personality into the professional politician candidate playbook that they use, the farther and farther from the truth they are going to get.

I've tried to help. During the course of this entire campaign, I've gone to great lengths to try to explain to people what it is about Trump, why he has his supporters, why they support him, and what you have to do to separate them from Trump. Basically, you can't. That's the bottom line. There's nothing any professional politician can do. They've done everything that they knew how to beat a candidate. They threw everything they had at Trump. I mean, the negative ads that they ran against him, these #NeverTrump guys and their PACs in all these states?

In indiana alone the amount of money spent on negative ads against Trump? And it didn't work. And in their world, negative ads always work. So they're out there scratching their heads today. You've got #NeverTrump people saying, "I said I was never gonna vote for Trump, and I'm never gonna vote for Trump -- and I mean it." You've got some people thinking about looking for third-party candidate. Others, it's a matter of honor, a matter of principle, to never vote for Trump. But they're caught between that and Hillary Clinton becoming president.

I don’t see it being “the most lopsided landslide victory in History”. Trump certainly could win and win comfortably, but too many states are neck high in stupid. I live in Southern California and I tell you Trump has 0% chance of winning this state. Mexicans and guilty white liberals combine for 60% of the population. Chicago will make sure Illinois stays blue just as NYC will keep NY blue. Philly and Pittsburgh will keep PA blue.

But with Detroits rapidly decreasing population, if Trump could win the suburbs there, he could take MI.

I’m a pessimist who still believes this nation will elect Hillary in the same fashion 0bama won his two elections. I think a majority in our nation are that stupid now. I do have some hope Trump will beat her, but if he does it probably won’t be any larger than GWB’s 2004 win over Kerry.

No. I’m a Cruz guy, but I have pretty much said nothing but good about Trump since last night. I think Rush preferred Cruz because Cruz really does follow the Reagan/Constitutionalist template that Rush goes by. He also appreciates the gifts that Trump brings to the table. Trump’s movement lives and dies by Trump. Cruz was trying to build on the Reagan model, and the country isn’t buying that. Trump was gracious last night, and now there is an election to win. Trump is well situated, Rush knows it, and he will do his part to get everyone on the same page. Those of us who are proCruz rather than NeverTrump will take almost as much pleasure in HRC’s skewering as Trump supporters will, just as we enjoyed Trump showing up the media. We will also, I hope, work together to demote the Romneys and Bushes. We must never get hooked on the money for at least a generation (there is no way to keep its corrupting influence at bay for much longer).

People ask me how many debates between Hillary and Trump. My response is that more than 10 minutes in one debate and she is finished. The rest doesn't matter.

As someone said, the nails have already been pounded into the coffin. Folks have yet to learn that Hillary is inside of it.

Rush acted as a Murdoch - Ailes cheap labor express operative during the push to ram thru Amnesty thru Congress .He intentionally buried and ignored the story after his Palms Restaurant sell out meeting with Murdoch Globalist media cartel .
Then he kept peddling over and over a flat fraudulent Cruz propaganda super secret SC internal poll which was a pure BS created by the Gope and the DC media con artists just before SC primary day ! The poll was dead wrong but Rush never mentioned it. He willingly peddled a DC propaganda poll. That was the final straw for my young son who ignited my advice to turn the turncoat off.
