AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he's not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that's Rush, for those in Rio Linda), the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back - just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America's anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do - host. Get ready to what you were born to do - listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.
Agreed, it truly was funny, he was a “conservative” entertainer. Now he truly thinks he’s the leader of the conservative movement, and he is not.
I believe you are right about that. They told him if he loses Indiana, they aren’t going to waste any more money. No money, no chartered jets to the West Coast. No advertising (like that did a fat lot of good.) Plus he was down about 30 points in California, and down in Oregon. NJ was a given. It was beyond over.
“Rush just said a lot of Trump supporters may be brain-dead.”
I did not listen to him very much, but I did catch that one, spliced in between sentences like he always does, while saying that some are educated.
” There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the Corker amendment.
There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted to reauthorize the Patriot Act.
There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the TPP enabling TPA.
There is no way an America conservative would have proposed legalizing illegals here.
There is no way an America conservative would have proposed a 500% increase in H1B Visas.”
BUMP
I thought it was a bit strange that Rush would jump to mention the Lee Harvey Oswald picture at the beginning of his show; said it was not the reason Cruz quit.
Okay, I'll bite. How about after he dumps Hilly, The 0 jumps up, claims some revelation on the subject and runs for "His" third term and/or designation as EezyPreezy for Life?
It's not like any other law, custom or clause has stopped him from doing exactly as he's wanted so far; Shredding another couple of hunks out of the Constitution as he wrecks the remainder of the country may just be the whipped cream and cherries on his entire life's work.
I did not realize that and now wonder why Kelley and Hume talked about the incident as tho Trump had initiated it.
Hillary would not allow Barry to run again
No, but Hillary ain’t the only person in this rodeo knows how to “take care of obstacles”.
(Saying that, I sincerely hope that my guesses on this are as far off the mark as usual. Anyway, I’ll get up a mess of popcorn and TRIPLE check the ammo locker just in case....)
You are right tho, there will be blood
You are right tho, there will be blood
Now that I think about it, seems like Rush turned radically against Trump after the debate where Trump really hammered Bush for 911 falling during Bush’s term.
FReepers always fall for the headline or some filtered 3rd party account that give you BS or not the whole story. Some posters are trollish in nature and love knee jerk reactions.
Like this one here.
“Trump: I’d Consider Kasich for VP”
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3427488/posts
Trump found out that Kasich has just dropped out from Wolf Blitzer who springs it on him. Blitzer informs Trump that Ohio is sooo important and that no Republican has ever won the White House without Ohio. Blitzer to Trump: would you be interested and having Kasich as VP?

Of course Trump in most cases is going to give an answer a polite answer here, and again Trump doesn’t initiate the question, but in thread I linked, you can read the predictable responses.
What I found really, really strange was how much Levin & Rush HATED Glenn Beck and yet were on the same side in this election cycle.
I remember sitting in the car after a gym workout in 96 listening to the radio news when Clinton had hit Dole with criticism. I said to myself, Dole you need to answer Clintoon. Bob Dole did not respond to Clinton's remarks ever. In a few days, Dole drops in the polls. Dick Morris years later noted the lack of response from Dole about the same event, and Morris wondered why Dole said nothing.
Listening to hour one now. Holy cow, the only news you’d think is out there is that Cruz dropped out . . . not that Trump won anything.
Rush places way, way too much emphasis on Wisconsin. Big deal. The key numbers for me are these:
Ted Cruz didn’t carry ONE COUNTY in FL, VA, NY, RI, DE, MD, PA, or OH. Now, come on. How the hell do you expect to win an election, let alone a primary?
These were key states. Of all the big “must have” states, Cruz only won TX and CO, and only CO was a recent “flip” state from red to blue under Obama. I don’t see how a guy can fail to win ONE SINGLE COUNTY in four of the key swing states that will determine the election and even hope to compete.
If delusional rambling is ok, you're correct.
From the get-go, I was pulling for a Trump/Cruz ticket. I was told, on this site, it would never happen. Was warned about Cruz. I though those telling me this were not correct. Well, they were spot on. Something happened to Cruz on the way to the Forum.
Speaking of Levin, I had my radio on Sirius listening to Hannity. Ran into the store about the time Hannity's show ended. Came out and Levin was on. What a raving lunatic!
He apparently never registered to vote until 1986 or so and his first presidential election was for Bush vs Dukakis in 1988. Better late than never. I assume he will vote Trump in November for Florida.
