He better get working on his Senate campaign. That’s one that’s iffy, now...

Nah, Cruz will do fine in Texas. He is well-liked by enough voters and top state leadership, plus he will be the incumbent. This run for President has raised his profile within the state. There will not be a challenger who is strong enough to beat him when the senate election rolls around in 2 years. The standard for senator is much less stringent than the standard for president. His seat is safe imo.

Rick Perry could roll up a blunt this time next year while announcing for Cruz's '18 Senate seat and beat Tedlim by +10. And I believe he will...

A word of advice. Don’t bet real money on that. This Texan doesn’t believe Ted could get elected to the Austin city council after all he’s done in this race.

And, we Texans, both Anglo and Tejana, need to work diligently to defeat Cornyn. If I wasn’t unemployed and flat broke, I’d consider going at him.

That said, I’ve got some time on my hands right now and could offer support (physical & intellectual) to defeating Cornyn...

It’ll be a tough nut to crack.
