Uh no, not happening. Rick Perry is finished in Texas, whether state or national representation. He was governor for 15 years. Our current governor, Greg Abbott has surpassed him already. Texas has taken a more conservative turn politically the last couple of years and Texans have tired of Perry. He had a good run. Trump may have plans for him, however.
