Rush rambles, mocks Trump supporters, and continues to stress what an incredible person Ted Cruz is then tries to weasel out of his own comments.
Wow, so Rush is full of compassion for Cruz with his interaction with that heckler the other day, but had NO such compassion when the media and Cruz were blaming Trump for the violence at his Chicago rally, and the false accusations that were thrown at Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski!

Rich Lowry was on Fox this morning stating that the Trump supporter taking on Cruz was an obvious Trump type, low information, only knew the bumper sticker answers: Lyin Ted, and Build the Wall. Beyond that he was obviously not as brilliant as Lowry himself. (or even Rush I’m sure)

I don’t care what Trump says about Cruz’s dad. The guy is a total whack job just like his son.
We have very clearly told Ted Cruz no, yet he continues to try and inflict himself upon us.

When you tell someone no very clearly, and they continue to come around, they begin to look like a stalker or some other form of creep.
Exactly Two! Stand-ups learn very early how to deal with hecklers - and they can be brutal. And they never approach them unless their whole act is premised on dealing with the audience (like Don Rickles). What’s interesting is why did Cruz do it? Does he have an unconscious death wish?
You're absolutely right. The funny thing is Cruz lost the other GOP debates too. I thought he was supposed to be a hot shot debater. Now, he's calling for another one out of desperation. Sort of like the qb who asks to go back into the game so that he can throw another interception.
Based on Rush’s performance during the past month, I won’t be surprised if the Trump administration makes all important announcements and holds press conferences from noon to 3 pm eastern, Monday through Friday.
This is one of those moments like Lloyd Bentson’s put-down of poor Dan Quayle. It’ll go into those hilarious presidential videos that were once so popular.

Indeed. Cruz will look to grasp at any straws. As another poster responded, Cruz doesn’t even need a reason. His lust for power is extreme and he’s thrown off any pretense.
He even had a 10 year old who heckled him at a rally perp walked from the event. I saw that clip on Morning Joe.
It’s one thing when the MSNBC crowd clucks their tongues and looks down their nose at candidates. But when they are in tears from laughing at a candidate’s stupidity - that’s really bad.
