Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said in an interview airing Sunday that GOP front-runner Donald Trump may encourage riots if he does not win the Republican nomination in Cleveland this summer.
Asked on CBS' "Face the Nation" if he was concerned about the possibility of violence if he were able to "overthrow" Trump with the delegates in Cleveland, Cruz insisted there wouldn't but said that Trump might try to fan the flames.
"No, it won't, although Donald may do everything he can to encourage riots," he said. "You know, overthrow is such a loaded spin word as ... to bring nothing but chuckles."
Gerald Ford and Abraham Lincoln both won their respective nominations despite coming in with fewer votes than their opponents, he added, so it wouldn't be the first time that the candidate who comes out of a convention is the one who didn't win the most votes during the primaries.
"When we arrive in Cleveland, I'm going have a bunch of delegates," he said. "Donald's going have a bunch of delegates. And it's going be a battle to see who can earn the support of a majority of the delegates elected by the people."

The only thing that makes any sense of Ted-The-Disrupter’s actions is that the GOPe has made the decision to go all in on destroying the Republican Party, seeing how they are powerless (not that they have not tried) to keep Trump from winning 1237 delegates.
I don’t think Ted is delusional at all. I just think he has zero integrity when it comes to trying to grab all the power he can. I believe Ted is a mercenary, a hired gun, who will be set for life financially if he can bring down and destroy the Republican Party. All this just to keep Trump out of the Whitehouse. The GOPe sees the election has gotten away from their control, and that their only future hope lies in seeing the party taken down to the ground, and with them and their money men rebuilding a completely new party. These people are not worried about Hillary being President. They did just fine with Obama. And, they are perfectly willing to see 75% of elected Republicans go down in defeat. What choice do they have? But, at present Donald Trump stands in their way..
Let him keep talking. That is what got the hubs and me to switch from Cruz to Trump. The more we listened to him the more we were turned off.

When Ted Cruz says, “the People” he means “the People That Matter”. To a globalist, the little people in the USA are just the overpaid version of the little people in China, or the Congo, or Ecuador. The GOPe seeks to remedy that overpaid part so we can compete on the global market for manufacturing jobs at the “sustainable” $1 a day wage.

The GOPe could rig things so Trump doesn’t win.
The Trump haters who will show up seem to me to be the mostly likely perps of violence in Cleveland.
As for the Trump supporters, they will get angry in the case of a rigged convention but I would expect them to find other ways to channel their anger.
He has lost reality. What a bucket of crap. Cruz is no more than another slimy lawyer. And to think I thought well of him once.
On the contrary, I think he’s listening to too many people who are goading him to keep going due to their own goals and desired outcomes. It certainly isn’t going to end well for him.
And I’m not even saying he should drop out. I just think he should STFU or at least pipe down with his bomb throwing against Trump. It isn’t working.
After that they need to be rounded up and deported...With EXTREME prejudice!

Claiming Kasich is mathematically eliminated due to the delegate count.
But, the graphic they use still shows Trump with only 850 delegates. They are using numbers from 2 weeks ago to show Ted still has a chance to overcome Trump in delegates if he can only win Indiana
Ted Cruz only cares about Ted Cruz. he is proving this whole run is all about his own ambition. He is a globalist and was a Bushie until they didn’t like him. he rode the tea party wave to get elected but doesn’t really believe in any of it. he is a phoney and a horrible candidate.
