Upset that Donald Trump received just a handful of statewide delegates during an electronic vote, his Arizona campaign manager is threatening to sue the Arizona Republican Party.
"This stinks to high heaven!" Jeff DeWit shouted at reporters, decrying the results of the at-large delegates.
He suggested the website Arizona Republicans used to choose delegates for this summer's national GOP convention, NeverHillary.SimplyVoting.com, was rigged. He offered proof in terms of a screen shot that suggests statewide delegates clicked on a slate supporting Trump.
"People clicked the trump button more than any other and we got hosed," he said.
Former governor Jan Brewer, a national candidate who supports Trump, agreed with DeWit.
"This stinks to high heaven," she said.
State Party Chairman Robert Graham stood by the results, saying the combined Ted Cruz and John Kasich supporters simply did better in the second half of the convention, getting a majority of the support.
Graham dismissed the legal threats from DeWit, saying elections have winners and losers.
He said he was confident in the results, saying the party set up a national delegate election that is completely transparent.

GOP Insiders Kill Anti-McCain Move, Silence Republicans
Robert Graham attempts to protect low level McCain operatives
This is why we don’t give any money to the AZ GOPee.
I am livid.
OK, I’m getting sick of this and about the only thing I can do about it right now is to URGE everyone reading this to add this “State Party Chairman Robert Graham” to a list.
Add him to a list of people who are getting postcards every Monday. People, we HAVE to let these snakes know they are being watched, and there WILL be consequences for election theft.
I need this guy’s mailing address, if anyone can spare the time tomorrow (or whenever). Right now I’m going to bed, but tomorrow i’ll go hunt for those postcards i found online the other day.
Time for my family to switch parties.
Me, too.
Trump had better win on the first ballot because the GOPe/Cruz are subverting the delegate selection process in too many states that Trump won and got great vote totals.
GOPe effin scum...now we know more than ever. It’s all about The Benjamins for these low lifes and a Trump presidency threatens their cash flow.
play all the games they want
we won’t be having a second vote at the convention
because it won’t be a contested convention
10 states, 236 delegates needed is very do-able - and that’s not counting unbounds.
We ALSO NEED to target McCain!!! This ahole NEEDS TO GO!!!!!
So, is this 2nd ballot stuff again? They have to vote Trump on the 1st ballot right?
If not, then I’m pissed..
That said, these party rules are lame and should be changed, they are only in place to keep people out.. but your party your rules.. except, I’m out.. btw, quit calling me, your people are getting sick of me telling them to piss off.
Rigged, rigged, rigged.
All those people, who stood in line for hours to vote in Arizona. Most of them for Trump. And in the end, Trump got almost nothing. It all goes to Cruz and Kasich.
Yeah, they are setting up their final Hail Mary pass. The clock will run out before the ball leaves Ryan’s (GOPe QB) hands. Can’t blame them for playing to the end. I do not think that they’re even close to figuring out that insulting Trump’s fans are what’s causing the momentum against them to rapidly build. They just can’t yet believe that none of their 15 chosen players could carry a ball past two yards. All of them tripped over Trump’s feet. Keep Calm and Go Trump ! [crowd ROARS]
It should be noted that Trump won all the Florida delegates due to the rules of the Florida Republican Party Rules. Trump had no problem with this. However when the the rules of other States did not benefit him he raised hell over the unfairness of the process.
Trump knew the rules when he started this race. He does not have the luxury to decide which rules are fair or unfair to him, that is the province of the local state Republican parties which are also as corrupt as he.
If Trump wins the required delegates according to the rules of each individual state I will support him. If he does not win the required delegates I will support which ever candidate wins at the convention.
I would also hope that at the rules committee they would enforce proportional delegates by percentages of votes in each state in future primaries. This would then put the election of candidates in the hands of the voters.
The reason for this present insanity is the elite of both parties do not want the people to decide whom the candidate is. That is the reason for “super delegates” as they are the tool of the elites that do not bend to the will of the voters.
The Democrat party and the Republican party are equally corrupt. They are both in horror of Trump and Bernie Sanders.
PS
I am for Cruz
Not impossible with the following statistics:
Total votes for At Large Delegates- 1106
Trump Slate- 430 (38.9%) Cruz Slate- 409 (37.0%) Select Own Delegates- 181 (16.4%) Kasich Slate- 57 (5.2%) Unity Slate- 29 (2.6)
The “Select Own Delegates” category killed us. Plus you could select a slate and then go in and remove people from that slate and select others. The process was poorly run and there were numerous glitches. On another thread it was mentioned the Cruz and Kasich people agreed to vote for one another and that squeezed out Trump supporters.

I am disappointed at the lack of integrity in my fellow State Delegates. The people elected us to represent them, not our own interests.
Yeah I could yell your for Cruz
Hoes it feel to be backing a guy who lies with ease of BJC
Your tagline, in toto, serves as a good bona fides to me — nice post.
More GOP rigging and back room deals. Will the GOP have any voters left after this primary? The opinion of the party is dropping fast.
Trump knew the rules when he started this race
No one other than GOP insiders knew all the rules at the beginning of this race. They vary from state to state and are constantly being changed. It is an insane system.
Despite Cruz being an attorney, I doubt that he personally had a great deal more knowledge than Trump about the arcane rules that vary in every state. The advantage that he had is that by Arizona, he was already being used by the insiders to deny Trump the nomination. Colluding insiders knew how to manipulate the rules to try and fix this election. They were using Cruz; he is corrupt to the core, but I am not sure that he or his campaign can really be held responsible for this travesty. In this case he was just the beneficiary of the absolute corruption of those who disenfranchised the voters of Arizona. The leadership of the Arizona GOP will never be trusted again.
