As a general principle no conversations have involved more varied opinions than discussions about the supposed “conservative” media and their seeming cognitive dissonance when it comes to issues surrounding Senator Ted Cruz.
Some people think these voices were just hoodwinked by Cruz and now their ego won’t permit them to admit the falsehood. Others think the pundits are too close to the candidate to see the inherent issues and contradictions; some propose their punditry is connected to financial motives. Perhaps it’s a combination therein, but many people just can’t figure it out...
All of those aforementioned voices know this fact. Limbaugh, Levin, Beck and Loesch are not stupid, they know the construct of how this all came down.
You see, it takes an intentional action to ignore the truth of how Senator Ted Cruz created, supported, and advocated for Trade Promotion Authority. An advocate cannot claim a position fundamentally disconnected from reality without intentionally desiring to do so.
That’s why these pundit voices cannot be just merely making mistakes, flawed thinking, or errors in judgment. It’s not intellectual dishonesty at play here, it’s just flat out ordinary dishonesty.

I have never seen even one Cruzer on Free Republic bother to read and understand Cruz's role and actions in accomplishing TPA and TPP.
I have never seen a Cruzer on FR defend TPA or TPP or Cruz's role in advancing them because the Cruzers have no clue about the meaning of any of it, because they choose to remain ignorant on TPA, TPP and on Cruz's role.
If they knew what TPA and TPP are, and that Cruz is responsible for advancing them, there is no way a conservative or a patriot could support TPA, TPP or Cruz. But they have not sought to gain any information on these (and a plethora of other issues).

I agree...this is a great article & it puts it right out there on how Cruz pulled this scam off. If one person who as posted supporting Cruz in this thread would read this & come up with some other explanation, well, I’m all ears.
All the “respectable” conservative pundits lost their credibility when they participated in the ongoing Conspiracy of Silence about Soetoro’s pathetic, crudely-forged “birth certificate” and his status as an ILLEGAL ALIEN. (Never mind non-NBC!)
And to add to your list, most Cruzers don’t know that Teddy has worked in government since he left college, including the Bush admin. His blind ambition causes everyone around him to despise him.
I think all of the zotted Cruzlims were well aware of all of this.

yeah, i’m sorry to hear rush was doing that. he should know better as a conservative and a Christian. i find that you can’t start talking down a conservative if you want to get anywhere. a bedrock principle of conservatism is that all men are created equal.

Sessions is good on immigration. On several other issues, his voting record is not as good as some of the other senators. Perhaps we should purge him along with Lee, Cruz, and others near the top of the conservative rankings.
