American voters now agree with Donald Trump: He’s the ‘presumptive nominee’ for GOP: poll

When Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump declared he was the presumptive nominee this week, much news coverage challenged him on it. A new survey reveals that GOP voters appear to agree with Mr. Trump: 89 percent now agree that the candidate will win the nomination, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll released Friday.
The number of Republican voters who believe Mr. Trump will be the nominee has risen by 18 percentage points in less than a week. The poll analysis cites his sweeping primary victories in New York and five other states in recent days as deciding factors.
To show how far Trump has come in a presidential bid that most considered highly improbable at the time, just 25 percent of Republicans said he was the likely nominee, Rasmussen reported.
Americans in general agree. Among all likely voters, 80 percent believe the billionaire will be on the national ballot in seven months.

I'm delighted to read that Mr. Trump has gained 2 more delegates from Dr. Carson.
After reading the obnoxious column penned by the Party-Firster,
that tired, tedious, old bastard George Will I am even more convinced that Mr. Trump is both the R/x for our Republic and the antidote for the Grand Old CORRUPT-Sell-Out Party.

Senator Cruz has no shame!
This primary and this historic election has become ALL about him. Most of our elections do not involve such high stakes!

Any normal candidate would have thrown in the towel after losing like Cruz did last Tuesday. I’m starting to think that he’s nothing more than a hand puppet, and that other masters make those sorts of decisions for him.
They’re obviously still wedded to the idea that they can wrest the nomination away from Trump at a contested convention.
I have a strong feeling that Cruz will stay in it, even if he loses Indiana.

I hate to say it, but I think you're right. I'd love for him to drop out and try to unify, but he's not shown himself capable of that.
The worst thing is the amount of negativity he's pouring into Trump, like a petulant teen wanting to get him back for stealing his girlfriend. The nasty Cruz jabs, along with the negative ads in each state, I think that's what the creeps in the GOPe want. They hope to damage Trump so he loses in the general.
I think that's true, and it makes me sick.

I tend to agree that TC won’t quit, but I suspect it is more because the GOPe/RNC/CFR puppetmasters are demanding he throw a wrench in the works, as the NWO show must go on.
I’m sure he’s ‘promised’ quite a few things in return.
