Little Simba couldn't wait to check it out.
The toy poodle was among the first to try a special bathroom just for animals at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, among a growing number of "pet relief facilities" being installed at major air hubs across the nation.
"There's a fire hydrant in there!" Simba's owner, Heidi Liddell, announced as she opened the pawprint-marked door between the men's and women's rooms.

Could a human use this bathroom if he identified as dog? Sure. Why not? The article says, "Guide and service dogs, emotional support animals and other pets traveling with passengers are all welcome to use the facilities."
Presumably that includes pet koalas and kangaroos. Just tell them you're a service animal.

But the cats! They shouldn’t have to go where the dogs are!

My male Rottweiler does that since he was neutered,I wouldn’t advise you to call him on it.He’s still pretty testy.

Our neutered boxer/whippet usually squats with his tail curled over his back, but when he’s marking territory, he always lifts his leg.
Go figure.

If Hillary barked, I’m sure they’d let her in. But that’s assuming that she’s a human. Very confusing.

There is one right across the street from me, and it's Rufus' first stop on our morning walks...

There is actually a fire hydrant on our property. It is out in front right next to a very busy street. Dogs are not allowed out there. My dogs get their exercise in our big back yard, chasing squirrels.
