Andrea Tantaros Told To Take Some Time Off From Fox News (Suggests Cause is Support for Trump)

div class="the-content">

Andrea Tantaros, popular Fox News co-host of Outnumbered, will not be on the show for a little while.

Here’s why…

From BPR:

There’s going to be a glaring absence on Fox News Channel’s “Outnumbered” — at least for the time being.

After TVNewser received a tip that Tantaros would be absent for a while, the publication reached out to the network, which replied that there were some contract issues that needed working out.

“Issues have arisen regarding Andrea’s contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off,” FNC wrote. “She is still under contract with the network.”

Though, some people believe it’s because she’s a Donald Trump ‘apologist’…

.@FoxNews needs to bring back @AndreaTantaros ASAP. Taking her off the air was punishment for not being a raving Trump hater.

— The Kincannon Show (@kincannon_show) April 28, 2016

@MontalbanoNY I was a big fan of hers until she became a Trump apologist. Not the best timing for her considering her new book.

— Gary R (@GaryDolphins) April 27, 2016

So, she’s still under contract, but the network said ‘we don’t need you right now?’

Hmm…

I think that right now some of them are grudgingly accepting reality, but through it all they have been big time GOPE all the way. Tantaros, on the other hand, has been clearly pro-Trump. She’s also been objective, so I don’t think that’s a problem.

Let’s see what comes of this.

FUFNC!! Tantaros is a conservative firebrand. Conservative firebrands are not wanted at the Fox Neo-Con Channel.

I watch Lou Dobbs(who is terrific!)and occasionally the other FBN hosts. If it wasn’t for Judge Jeanine and Hannity FNC would be history in my house.

Laura Ingraham is the only “conservative” talk radio show I can listen to anymore. Everyone else has lost their minds over Trump. Hannity is OK, but he’s a bit of an intellectual lightweight for my tastes.

Friends: I listen some to Beck and some to Levin. I know---I'm a masochist. Actually it's entertaining to see people make such fools of themselves.

But I have a question for you:

Both Beck and Levin say Fox is in the tank for Trump, they call it The Trump Network, and to hear them describe it Fox is totally partisan to Trump and often their callers say they don't watch fox anymore due to its bias in favor of Trump.

I haven't watched Fox since Megyn sucker-punched Trump, August 6. So....Is it true that Fox is extremely and unabashedly pro-Trump as Beck and Levin portray it?

Absolutely not pro-Trump.

Hannity is pro-Trump. Dobbs & Regan & Faulkner are very fair. Tantaros is pro-Trump.

Everyone else is and has consistently been a mouthpiece for the GOPE/NR types.

But, the GOPE types were only pro-Cruz recently.

Just because Cruz wasn’t pushed that doesn’t mean Trump was. Cruz complains about all the air time that Trump received, but Hannity offered and gave more to Cruz which Cruz regularly turned down.

And there are those initial months when Trump started a fight with Kelly and Fox, and it got him brought on because he was the talk of the town.

At that point in time, Cruz was still studiously avoiding confrontation as a bad strategy.

But Megyn, who’d GLADLY move to a network in a NY minute, can continue to bring on her endless stream of Trump bashers, while groveling to him for her ‘exclusive’ interview with him. Helluva place, that Fox.

It’s true. Kelly has been ruthless in her attacks on Trump.

I don't believe it. Sure FOX has had some pro-Trump statements. But there is the ever present Carl Rove with is white tablet and the equally disgusting L. Graham (though I haven't seen him lately. I have seen some quite obvious anti-Trump statements albeit a little less lately than previously.

imho, Beck and Levin are trying to force FOX to be more anti-Trump.

If that were true, 90% of Fox would have to leave.

Do Levin and Beck think that, in the event of a Trump victory in November, that they will spend 8 years of trashing Trump on their radio show? Because they have MARRIED the “never Trump” thing. They are joined at the hip with the Trump haters. They bet everything on Cruz.

“Fox says, “we have contract issues....by the way, she’s under contract”

She’s a Trump supporter.

That could be the contract issue.”

I seriously doubt that as Rupert Murdock has publically endorsed Trump and the Fox Network has given him a lot more free airtime than all of the other candidates combined.

A good question might be: “What’s in it for Rupert Murdock?”
