Watching the political immolation of Cruz and by extension Beck, Levin and Rush has been so and unseemly that I can't even put it into words.

They are doing it to themselves. The Neo-Cons that eviscerated Sarah back in 08' showed their colors, we always suspected the chattering class ( insert the names you know them ) were weasels, and they confirmed it.

But Cruz with all his promise, and Levin, Beck, and Rush on top of it?

All I can think of I posted last night. And that is, they are the gate-keepers of our bitchfest and we go to them, because they think like us. Sometimes we get a small victory, but for the last 30 years we have had our arses handed to us. If Trump fixes "it" their is nothing for them to rail about ipso-facto they are out of a job. What is interesting is they are metaphorically retiring themselves early by getting aboard the Cruz crazy train, go figure.....

I’m waiting for Ted to deny he ever ran for President.

That'll be when he's running for re-election to the Senate

"President?! Why shucks, I'd NEVER put my darlin' wife and children through that kind of an ordeal, I tell you what! No sir, I've been spendin' every day of these last six years up there in that den of iniquity we call Washington DC, fightin' the good fight for the people of Texas!"

Your post 29 was about Cruz being able to get a high profile position/ case with little experience.
There are so many questions about his resume and one other thing I have a hard time believing Heidi as the daughter of missionaries went to top schools and worked in the Bush admin, etc.

Follow the money

To rephrase George Peppard, “I love it when a plan doesn’t come together.”

Hugin: I think for a lot of folks it was Cruz parroting the Hillary talking points about Trump being responsible for the leftist riot in Chicago. He really jumped the shark there.

LongWayHome: This is Machiavellian level stuff, but still ham-handed in the bigger picture since Cruz can’t lay a hand on Trump.

Ham-handed Machiavellianism is the trademark of Hillaryism. Hillary will have seven secretaries infiltrate a military base to steal secret security plans to set off stolen armaments that put half a city in flames, so the police are completely occupied while she breaks a window and steals a candybar on the other side of town. Hillary's followers think this kind of thing is sheer genius, and seek to copy it in their own lives.

So when I see the up till now intelligent Cruz acting like this, I KNOW Hillary's people are calling the shots for his campaign.

Boehner had other lawyers. Likely hired Cruz because he was walking out of Rehnquist’s office. That happens a lot in politics. Young ivy league rookies are groomed with things that look great on a CV.

The best lawyers don’t work for politicians. They don’t. Too much BS. The best work for the big bucks which is why the judges are populated by mostly weak loser types.

Trump is stepping in because the SHTF is a micron from happening or has already started. Trump will bring in the best who are already wealthy.

“This really is beginning to look more than a little pathological. ;)”

You are not kidding. I don’t know if the campaign is having an effect on his well being but something is certainly not right. He may be on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Who? John Kasich? I don’t think so - his policies are more in line with Hillary than Trump. He’s also a hot head - quick tempered and wouldn’t be malleable for Trump. He would want to run the presidency.

I would say so. Cruz lies so naturally. For to long, the media let him get away with it. I never saw someone lie so much as he does. It is a sickness.

Amazing how Trump saw through this lying puke...and gave him the name Lyin Ted. Got to love Trump!!!

Exactly, I feel there will be turbulent during and after the Convention. That is why I pray for Donald’s safety.

OR will go big for Trump. So will CA and NJ.

Do we need to write about it anymore?

That assumes Cruz is delusional enough to hang around after his IN loss next week.
