On Sunday night, the campaigns for Ohio Governor John Kasich and Texas Senator Ted Cruz released simultaneous statements declaring an alliance of sorts aimed at taking on the runaway frontrunner, Donald Trump.
Jeff Roe from the Cruz campaign released the following statement details exactly how the arrangement would work:
To ensure that we nominate a Republican who can unify the Republican Party and win in November, our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico, and we would hope that allies of both campaigns would follow our lead.
The divide-and-conquer policy would allow for Cruz to focus his campaign infrastructure in Indiana while Kasich tackles Oregon and New Mexico. We will shift our campaign resources West, clarified the Kasich camp is its statements.

And now, enter a third candidate with no hope of derailing the Trump Train: Carly Fiorina, who was named as Cruzs VP choice in the event he miraculously wins the GOP nom. Either Fiorina isnt quite caught up on how the Cruz campaign has been playing politics as of late or the whole Oregon/New Mexico/Indiana debacle is already deemed a likely failure because Fiorina relayed to MSNBCs Hallie Jackson a strange message about her campaigns unlikely bedfellow from Ohio.
Jackson asked, How are two people who have not been able to beat Donald Trump yet better than one person how hasnt been able to beat Donald Trump?
After some jockeying about the states where Cruz has been victorious, Fiorina pivoted and took aim at Kasich. I actually think the person you should be asking this question to is John Kasich. He didnt get the memo. When you cant win, you need to get out.

Cruzilla
Swan song, but she doesn’t believe it yet.
Your so-called constitutional conservative is a globalist, and a guy who wants to make America great again is kicking teddy’s Uniparty ass.
Breaking News!
Ted Cruz announces he will build his presidential library in Indiana. “There’s nothing more I love than a good game of rings, so why not put my library in a state where basketball is king?”
More breaking news!
Ted Cruz says he has always been a Notre Dame fan. “Growing up in Canada, we didn’t have much college football, so from an early age I followed Notre Dame.”
He reminds me of the fat man from "The Meaning of Life". Sombody throw KASICK a "wafer thin mint".
Wait till Carly’s scorn turns to Cruz. We will be reading police reports of Ted sitting by a roadside with his head in his hands.
All other things being equal, Reagan had executive experience. When was the last time we had a senator as POTUS? Oh yes, the current occupant...
And when FReepers report about this depressed-teddy incident, Libby Lu will damn all us Trumpees to hell. :)
Wow. Just Wow
“Ted and Snarly a repulsive blend of each other.”
Cruz advocated the 500% increase in H-1B visas, because there are still some middle and upper middle class jobs left in America.
Snarly dedicated her career to sending American jobs to India, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Then she proceeded to BURY HP and Lucent. Might as well keep Obama LOL!
Quite the Tag Team !
Oh, the horror! How dare he make a wisecrack?
slandering the ONLY constitutional conservative that we HAVE BEEN BEGGING for since Reagan...
Slandering? LOL. More like telling the truth.
As if we haven't all seen the real Ted Cruz for ourselves anyways over the last 6 months...
Vote Trump
Clueless
What did I ever do to YOU ?
LOL
LOL
“If Kasich drops out, his delegates would go to Trump.
Why is that?”
I’d read there here on FR - that under Ohio law, if the candidate drops out, the second place runner-up in the primary gets the delegates.
Probably at home relaxing now that iCarly can keep an eye on Ted and his 'wondering' eyes.
