MANCHESTER, N.H. —Texas Sen. Ted Cruz will announce on Wednesday afternoon that former presidential rival Carly Fiorina has agreed to be his running mate should he win the GOP presidential nomination.
Sources confirmed to WMUR political director Josh McElveen and political reporter John DiStaso that Fiorina, who has been a supporter of Cruz for several weeks, will be the focus of the announcement that Cruz intends to make in Indiana Wednesday afternoon.

Why bother?
It’s over Ted. You gave it one hell of a run, but it’s time to show some grace and dignity instead of just flogging a dead horse.
What he really needs is the endorsement of Gov. Pence, but he’s proving to be the linguini-spined GOPe weasel we’ve suspected. At least Scott Walker had the cajones to come out for Cruz.
By effectively supporting the election of whichever socialist the Democrats nominate, Cruz will severely -- if not irrevocably -- damage his reputation as a "conservative" as well as his honor. He will be just another self-serving politician, doing whatever it may take to maintain his power and prestige.
Cruz is doing the move of losers - declaring his VP early as a way to salvage a failing campaign in the hopes that generates some enthusiasm.
And it proves the point I made about Cruz that Cruz can’t win anything on his own he needs a VP pick of woman, he needs politicians with local power to win him obscure weirdo states that don’t represent America and in states where their is no direct vote.
I saw a clip of Cruz and his girls last night but no Heidi. Where was she. Carli taking her place?

For TN he got no counties at all either...
we have a primary here and out of 99 counties Trump got them all but one that went to Rubio..
In my county Trump got all the precincts but one that went to Rubio...
Cruz came in 3rd for all our precincts but 4 where he came 2nd to Rubio’s 3rd...
Rubio got 2nd all our most Conservative precincts..
and I’m happy to say Bernie won my precinct...:)
And TN is the most Conservative state in the country...

Trump will trump this when he announces Susana Martinez as his VP.
It’s really scary to think this nut job ever had a “prayer” of winning. Given his bizarre behavior, imagine what weirdness might have happened when confronted with a major crisis as president? Scary!
Kasich/Fiorino just as bad, if not, worse for playing into the madness. Meanwhile, I wonder, how many Cruzbots will bring fire extinguishers to the presser? Cruz’ campaign is in flames and going down fast!
