On Monday afternoon, KERA News' Krys Boyd sat down with Sen. John Cornyn in the Hart Senate Office Building to talk about new legislation he’s sponsoring, Donald Trump — and Ted Cruz, his Texas colleague in the Senate who's running for president.

Ha Ha...i think cruz came in third in four of five states...won zero delegates...kasich got five.

Cornyn is wrong. Cruz flip flopped at one point when he saw an opening to run and people justifying the “non” birther issue.
Let me assure you folks— John Cornyn is no damned good. He is MR. ESTABLISHMENT. He funded the defeat of McDaniel in Mississippi. He was a butt boy on the Iraq fiasco. Don’t be fooled by John Cornyn. He goes.
Well, of course he is.
But having Cruz’ fellow Texas senator say this now is a little shocking.
So much for Cruz being GOPe. Apparently, the GOPe didn’t get the memo.
We already knew this, which is why he never made it out of second place, and after tonight, never made it out of third place.
So nice of Cornyn to wait until months after the fact and clearly long after Cruz imploded before he made this comment.

Well, at least we’re in agreement that they are some form of excrement!
Poor John. I’m sure he was pullin’ fer Yeb.
This does raise the question: What, exactly, is the reason Cornyn went to Washington? Because it’s not to represent the interests of the people of Texas - he hasn’t done much of anything towards that end other than mouth platitudes. And, of course, get paid.

Cornball doesn’t even bother with the platitudes anymore. I sat out his race in 2014, for all the good it did.
Well, one thing you can say about politicians is that they would know a piece of $hit if they saw one. So, if Cornyn is a POS, he must recognize Cruz as one too.
And now ladies and gents, we will see the scramble to gain favors from the one who will win the nomination- Donald Trump.
