During an era of headline-grabbing advances in medicine, the United States is experiencing a health cataclysm. The latest straw in the wind is last weeks report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showing that life expectancy for white women declined slightly from 2013 to 2014.

It’s very simple.
A country in decline creates lots of stress.
Middle America became the results of decades long destructive policies created by the lawyers and politicians in D.C.
In a way, their meltdown without Buckley is similar to the incomparable Phyllis Schafly and the problems she’s having with her progeny.
At least the NRats waited until Bill was gone to go full retard.
The Trump phenomenon is changing everything and the `kids’ can’t handle it.
>> France is one of the countries with highest consumption of saturated fat <<
And don’t forget the red wine!
But anyway, I seem to recall that many French die from cirrhosis of the liver, while most Americans die from cardiac problems and cancer.
So just pick your poison?
There's another factor that's impacting health care for people who are still considered to be self-sufficient. They're being squeezed by their insurance premiums. But if they want to use their insurance? Deductibles often discourage them from getting the care they need. Besides that, the tail wags the dog. The care they get is determined by what the insurance company will cover.
This is anecdotal. I had a shoulder injury six months ago, and paid for my Physical Therapy. (no Medicare Part B). Both of those factors, deductibles keeping people from completing PT and only covered things being offered, were a total frustration for the PTs. I would assume this has become standard practice with health care.
What's the solution? Don't get sick. Don't spend money on unnecessary stuff. Don't get in debt. Hope for a better future for all of us.
I remember that-the flexed arm hang kept me from the Presidential award every year!

WE’RE #1 !!! WE’RE #1 !!!
The politicians are mostly ignorant of the fact or don’t care.

Well, in my opinion, the politicians and the federal government have been intentionally at war with the middle class since the 1960’s.
The reason why is a populace dominated by lower class government dependents and lower class immigrants will tolerate a corrupt government.
Look at places like Zimbabwe and Venezuela. The ruling class lives in luxury paid for by corruption and government theft while everybody not in the ruling class gets poorer and poorer.
“The heroin epidemic is a byproduct of the destruction of the working and middle classes!”
I think there is more going on than that. The heroin-related deaths we know of personally involved young adult males from upper-middle-class or even higher-income families. All of them struggled with the transition from high school to “independence” either at college or on relatively menial jobs. One common thread among them is that they were (we thought) excessively spoiled from an early age.
Yes, here in NJ our heroin epidemic is joined by a suicide epidemic. Some bastard tried to explain it away with nonsense like in the past hospitals didn’t report suicides; these are very public suicides (walking in front of trains, jumping off bridges, etc.) that could never have been concealed in the past, and this ass was just in denial or running interference for the overlords (I suspect the latter).
There isn’t more going on; those young people in particular will feel the pinch as they have no hope of replicating the success of their parents’ generation. That “independence” they seek is increasingly beyond reach financially particularly for them, as they are accustomed to many things others here would view as luxuries. White males in general are paying a financial price for affirmative action policies (see my tagline); one of the leading presidential contenders just made it very clear by vowing to have a 50% female cabinet (with no regard for merit).
This is economic war, and much of the heroin/suicide is due to the PTSD (absolute despair).
Ironically, my dutch relatives have begun posting, on Facebook, experiences with migrant-caused crime, including bicycle theft.
They also don't eat very much, or at least the portion size is quite smaller. The Dutch do seem to live exclusively on potatoes, chocolate and cheese.
Yup, it’s like that all over.
Portion size is key as well. A friend of my mom took pictures of her host’s pantry while in Norway because she couldn’t get over the tiny bags of sugar, flour etc. Everything looked miniature to her.
I use to go to Sam’s Club on a regular basis, but realized that even for my family of eight that when I bought in bulk, we ate in bulk and went through it pretty quickly. Part of that could be due to teenage boys (never seem full!!!) but having huge amounts of things just made everyone ration less. The tiny packages of everything at Aldi seem to stretch further.
< Time to take America back!
I’ve seen people getting thinner on average in the areas I live and work in the past several years. I think it’s due to people not having the funds to eat the way they used to, not being able to afford them, losing their jobs or bin laid, etc...in general fallout from the things that the current administration did that ruined the economy
