My thoughts exactly!
The problem is not “rules,” but this:
Year after year, we are regaled with pep talks about how we need to get more people to participate in politics, that we need more people to vote, and we need to bring more people into the Republican Party. You CANNOT do this on a national/big scale, then turn around and through “rules” make their votes irrelevant. I don’t care how proper it was, it LOOKS corrupt to all those people who were just told their votes don’t count.
It’s just the opposite of what Rush says about Cruz: he is NOT being smart about this. He had a way to get the delegates AND do it so that he seemed like a voice of democracy. He could have done this in a number of ways I explained. But this all smacks of a political version of “witness tampering” to average people and it’s Cruz’s fault to NOT figure this out.

Art, he’s just kind of bitter about tonight. Rush isn’t even talking about the sweep today of the northeast. He probably can’t bear it, lol.
I guess no comment from you on Cruz and his alliance with the leftist Kasich? How about Cruz and his alliance with the GOPe. Some conservative, right? As for Trump, at least he isn't beholden to anyone. Can't say that about Ted. Goldman Sachs, GOPe, and other establishment supporters are going to want something for their investment.

I had a shot at being a delegate this time around but knew there was not way I could fit it in. If I get another chance and I may I will give it a shot.
Why is Rush still trying so hard to prop up Cruz’s corpse?
At this point Rush is only helping Hillary. Maybe Hill and Bill have promised him a night in the Lincoln Bedroom.
I never thought I’d be listening to Rush trying to help a Clinton get into the White House. Amazing.

I hear him justifying the Cruz plan...but that it didn’t work.
I think if I was Rush and had embarrassed myself as much as he has in the past few months, on the day Trump unquestionably becomes the presumptive nominee I’d just shut up and play music instead.
