Very interesting.
I half expected something hokey. It seems to be a very good article.
Thank you.

Amazing... there really is an instantaneous spark of life at the moment of conception!

The bad news is that they’ll use this to decide which newly-created lives get killed versus implanted in women’s uteruses.

In the experiment, scientists use sperm enzyme rather than actual sperm to show what happens at the moment of conception. These flashes are produced in the presence of sperm enzyme, not sperm. A now human life is not being created, so it is not the soul. I think God wants us to go on faith rather than scientific knowledge for spiritual questions, in which case He may have chosen not to allow us to see the soul enter a new human life. That doesn't make the soul any less real. It just makes it a question outside the scope of science.

If you keep reading there is a dark side to this story though. They want to use this spark as a measure of health for the egg and viability for the embryo.
Guess what will happen soon when the “spark” is lower than the one next to it.
Hmmm..... Only the brightest of the bunch are implanted, the rest will be flushed.
I wonder how many of us here didn’t spark bright enough with zinc for them to deem us worthy?
