Donald Trump Jr. said that the only way Texas Sen. Ted Cruz can convince delegates to support him over his father is with bribery.
"Ted Cruz has no chance of winning this without bribing the delegates. That's his game at this point," the son of the real estate mogul told CNN's Jake Tapper in a CNN "State of the Union" interview that aired Sunday.
Trump Jr. said if his father wanted to bribe delegates he could -- and do it very well.
"He could send his private plane and send them down to Doral, they could play golf for a week and then we win that delegate. That's not the way this country should be run," Trump Jr. said.

Amen!
Oyvey. Breathtaking stupidity.
Third option: purge the current Establishment from the state party.
According to, for example, the PA Committee Person's Handbook, local party committee members are elected in primary elections in even-numbered years. Like this one. The local committee members elect the more senior party officials.
There should be a concerted effort by the Tea Party groups to run their own candidates, and oust the establishment.
I hope the day will come again when FReepers can disagree without animosity. I believe most of us really love our nation despite seeing different things in the candidates.
Evidently you. A whiner who likes to dish it out but can’t take it. :-)
Tea Party was co-opted by the Kochs a few years ago. There's just too much money sloshing around in the federal government to keep any organization clean.
Your sputtering words do not make it so.
Hear that noise?
That’s the ZOT-clock, and it’s ticking for you.
Believe it.
Same here. But I am not the type to be intimidated. And I won’t turn the other cheek to bullies. I appreciate the comity NC.
Blah, blah, blah.
Print that on your business card.
It fits.
I agree - that was an amazing series. I’ve been a baseball fan for many years.
Going back to 1986, the Mets’ nearly impossible resurrection in Game 6 of the World Series taught me, and eventually my ball-playing son (age at 8), that a ball game is never over, locked in, and assured until the PA announcer is telling you to drive home safely.
Speaking of the Rockets and Warriors, when Curry got injured, Twitter was burying my Dubs. Now they’re up by 23 in the 4th quarter. But we’ll see.
Cruz and his supporters are once again looking real sharp.
Oh great, another member of the peanut gallery.
They even have video of Cruz handing out cash...Too funny.
I fully support you standing firm on your convictions and want that same respect from others. No insults. A psychologist I once had the privilege to know said if everyone held identical beliefs all but one of us would be unnecessary.
Cruz said that if you want to defeat Trump, you have to do it at the ballot box (as opposed to at Cleveland). The link to the interview in which he made that point has been posted again and again. Have you really never seen it?
bootless —
I think Curry getting hurt illustrates the fact that the Warriors are a team. Although every cog is important, the team is still very talented. I hope my Thunder can survive the maelstrom of the Spurs and meet up with GSW in the conference finals. They played some very competitive games his year. Curry being only 2 for 9 in the first half, 6 points shows he is human. I hope it’s a small tweak, and the Clipper/Blazer series goes 7 so he can get healed up.
Hey, if we are both in the conference finals, I’d love to have you (and son or friend) as my guest for a game in OKC. I’ve got sufficient tickets.
