ALBANY The head investigator for the state Board of Elections probed the 2014 fundraising efforts by Mayor de Blasio and his team on behalf of the Senate Democrats and found enough willful and flagrant violations to warrant a criminal referral to the Manhattan DAs office.
The Daily News obtained a bombshell memo state Board of Elections Chief Enforcement Officer Risa Sugarman sent to the boards four commissioners on Jan. 4 recommending the referral.
I have determined that reasonable cause exists to believe a violation warranting criminal prosecution has taken place, Sugarman wrote. The violations discovered by this investigation can only be described as willful and flagrant.

The most reviled Republican candidate would be that Ted Cruz.
It’s likely to come down to the 100+ Unallocated or Uncommitted delegates. If they break proportionately, Trump is likely in. If not, then we will see how good he really is at The Art of the Deal.
Rigghht they are going to install fruitcake Cruz when he loses to Trump by 550 to 600 plus delegates.
Bill Mitchell: “If Cruz had Trump’s numbers, the media and the RNC would be begging, nay DEMANDING Trump withdraw for the good of the Party”
Trump doesn’t have a majority of the delegates at this point and I’m trying to tell you it doesn’t matter in the end if he does. Delegates will be challenged and rules will be proposed which will deny Trump a first ballot victory. Do you believe Trump will win a second or third ballot vote?
Trump has the highest negatives of any Presidential candidate in decades with Hillary only slightly behind. The Never-Trump Republicans will gladly live without the Trump cultists to rid themselves of Trump.
That man is done as a presidential candidate, and the longer he stays in the race his long term political career will be done too.
I personally dont think 1237 will be a problem.

You are hired!
The Cruzlims new strategy is to try and steal it Even if Trump has 1237. In which case Cruz will go down as the most Hated politician in American History.

It just occurred to me that if Hillary wins, Cruz would be the one blamed for all the problems America will face.
You listen to too much cable TV. This hype they are all generating is to keep people tuned in.
The truth of the matter is that Trump will more than likely have 1237 plus delegates by the Cleveland convention and will win on the first ballot. A little scheming two bit lawyer/1st term senator who is widely hated in his own senate will never undermine Trump at the convention.
Ted Cruz is outta gas and outta time. The voters have said no thanks.

Exactly correct. Trump will have the 1237 by June 7. The rest is a ratings game for the networks. Nothing more.
And that would be the end of the Republican Party. If Trump wins, or comes close, and they install Kasich they’ll lose everything in a landslide. Not just the White House but the senate and house too. And record numbers of state and local elections.
There won’t be enough elected republicans left anywhere for the lobbyists and consultants to care anymore. And Hillary will finalize the death of this country...
Yes of course Trump will win. Everyday his poll numbers go up and Cruz goes down. The voters want to coalesce around a candidate and get on with the general election. There will be no second ballot and I predict Cruz will not even be at the convention.
Should be required viewing for all Cruz supporters. I watched that last night, those guys were shameless, but truthful.
They love that Cruz is playing the useful idiot to them.
How so? Every time I try I cant get him above 1205.
I think after next Tuesday more will rally around him. It will be obvious at that point - game over! That should push him past 1205. Also, Many unbound have stated they will vote for whoever their state voted for....most likely, Donald Trump.
It’s sweet that you think primary voters matter.
In 1976 Reagan attempted the same strategy Cruz is using to defeat Ford. He came close but it didn’t work because he didn’t have enough delegates committed. I don’t watch much cable tv but from what I read Cruz is locking up a bunch of second and third ballot delegates that of course can vote Never-Trump on the rules. The real vote will be before the nomination balloting.
I suspect that when next Tuesday rolls around, that will substantially influence the remainder of the states in Trump’s favor.
Phyllis Schlafly was interviewed Friday and at the age of 91 her mind is still sharp as a tact. She said she supporters Trump because of immigration and he’s the only one that will bust up the GOP establishment that she hates. She said she’s went to every GOP convention since the 1952
and the establishment always gets what they want. She also says the system is rigged and needs to be demolished. As far as Cruz is concerned she said he has no shot, that they hate him almost as bad as Trump.
