In these speeches, Cruz sometimes admits with disbelief that he once supported Fidel Castros revolution. I started speaking at different rotary clubs around Austin, Texas in favor of Castro! I still thought he was the savior of the country, he told FreedomWorks, a conservative group, in 2013.
Local news articles and documents from the late 1950s offer a clearer picture of the days of Cruz as a young man, then a believer in the revolution and a visible college activist.
On Jan. 8, 1959, Fidel Castro rode victoriously into Havana. The countrys dictator, Batista, had fled a week earlier. The next day, Rafael Cruz spoke to the Daily Texan, the student newspaper at UT-Austin.
The July 26 movement was started not by the lower classes but the cultured people of Cuba. People like lawyers, businessmen, men of education. And you know the Communists like to prey on the downtrodden, said Cruz, conversing freely in his native Spanish.
The July 26 movement is the name of the movement led by Castro that overthrow Batista. The name comes from an attack on the Santiago de Cuba army barracks on July 26, 1953.

I hear you, but what we should probably fear the most regarding pop's influence is if pop raised his son to believe that he, the son, is one of The Chosen to rule the 7 Mountains (or however all that non-Biblical blasphemy crap goes).
The photo in #15 -
Ted is looking at the camera.
And Heidi is kissing an imaginary stranger
standing behind his right shoulder.
We probably have to wait until after Jan 20, and then maybe President Trump will order the release. Raphael knows a lot about the Kennedy assignation too...he was buddies with Lee Harvey...
My wife told me to always try to look at the watch a candidate is wearing. She says the frauds will wear a cheap watch with a rubber band. Their worth 10 million dollars and they wear a $50 watch. Also look for the phony activist bands. Bill Clinton always wore a cheap watch and the “band of the day”.
I think she is right.
Do we know when pop cruz had his big religious conversion?
The second one. Lawsy!
I’ve never heard that, but I agree... I think she’s right!
I saw that issue cover in the supermarket today, something about ‘Cruz’s father involved in JFK assassination.’
Oswald was into the Texas ‘Justice For Cuba’ political movement, passing out fliers on the street, even got his butt kicked in a radio debate. It’s the reason he hated Kennedy: Bay of Pigs, the embargo, etc.
Marxists of course.
So, was Ted’s Pappy chagrined to recall he was a commie? As noted here, yet another Obama parallel.
.
Thirteen-second video of Cruz trying to hug and kiss his Daughter.

Poor little kid...
I do not know about that conversion time line. Wish I could give you a link to that column on Mr. Cruz. Possibly the conservative treehouse.
ok, thanks.
Really happy kids he has....
Yhis is proof that lyin’ ted on NOT american minded, and isn’t a conservative. He’s admitting to the promotion of communism on top of being a globalist, which is also un-American!
Collusion with the regime?
I haven’t done enough research to comment on the subject.
but there is something ODD about the guy.
The truth is coming out..finally
Cruz born in 1970...His dad was still married to wife #1 until 1997...so Cruz’s parents weren’t married..no record of a marriage can be found..and they were both Canadian citizen then...and she used the name Cruz?
so many tales...so many untruths.
guess it is OK for Professional Politicians to tell ‘FAIRY TALES’
The whole biography on Mr. and Mrs. Cruz is pretty bizarre for me.
I didn’t know exactly what it is that Ted Cruz has sealed from the public. But, there are reasonable doubts about his citizenship, unfortunately for him.
What would Hillary’s forces do with those issues?
I read that both Rafael and Eleanor (Teddy’s parents) were on a Canadian voter list. Does that mean that both were Canadian citizens at that time? I also read that Canada did not allow dual citizenship back in the 60s. What I would like to know was did Eleanor get Canadian citizenship before Teddy’s birth? And, was the dual citizenship thing a fact? It would be good to nail down the citizenship status of Teddy’s mother Eleanor.
