We cannot secure the blessings of liberty with Hillary in the White House.
When Trump wins the lion's share of the primary votes, states and delegates and the establishment installs someone else as the candidate, you've handed the election to Hillary.
Trump is the only anti-establishment candidate in the race and has won the lion's share of votes, states and delegates and is on track to continue amassing the lion's share of the votes, states and delegates by direct vote of the people.
We the People have voted and are voting to finally wrest control of our government from the entrenched corrupt establishment, aka, the uni-Party.
Cruz, Kasich, et al are mathematically eliminated and cannot win the nomination per the voters. They can attempt to re-wrest the nomination away from Trump and away from We the People only by corrupt establishment treachery at the convention. And that will split and destroy the party and guarantee a Hillary win.
NeverTrump is a losing proposition and will lead to a loss of liberty and loss of country.
This is totally unacceptable.
After the corrupt establishment losing twice in a row to Marxist Obama, I'm damned tired of the corrupt establishment and damned tired of losing.

By the way, Cruz's campaign still refuses to answer the question whether or not Cruz will support Trump if he's the nominee. He's taking the GOPe route of preferring Hillary over Trump. This is also totally unacceptable.

The process is not just to arrive at a nominee, it is also designed to allow the healing process to begin. Especially with the number of candidates this election and the personal nature of the campaigns, healing the hurt feeling and uniting for the real battle upcoming is vital. Cheer leading and a my way or the highway approach might feel good but you don't win a general election by excluding a good part of your base.

If Teddy buys off enough of the delegates AFTER Trump has reached 1237, that doesn't him any good at all.
If he somehow manages to keep Trump from getting to 1237 (LOL...not happening !) but Trump has, say 1200, or even 1199 and is denied the nomination ( and don't hand me any CRAP about "the rules"...THE HELL WITH THE DAMNED RULES !), then the GOP is as dead as the WHIG PARTY and Cruz is the dust of the crumbs of burnt toast.

The vicious, hysterical, exaggerated hatred to which Donald Trump has been subjected is abominable and unconscionable, and his haters on this forum, rhetorically speaking, have been more than happy to bathe their hands in his blood.
Enough is enough. NO MORE.
There has been ample time for people to search their hearts and decide whether Donald Trump is sincere or not.
At some point, no more minds will be changed, especially the ilk that fanatically support Ted Cruz, regardless of his clear collapse in the polls, regardless of his many moral lapses, regardless of his jumping into bed with the GOPe, and regardless of his diabolical notion of attempting to force a contested convention.
If Jim's action can blunt the Ted Cruz "contested convetion" propaganda and prevent ONE person from falling for Trump-hatred, then he's doing the right thin.
Cruz propagandists and Trump-haters (but I repeat myself) such as yourself are well advised to stick to the issues, instead of spreading invective and discord.
Don't you get it? It's time for unity. If you're not prepared to at least consider that, then you short step back a bit and re-consider.

Contrary to his previous calls for other candidates to withdraw when that was the case, he has hypocritally refused to do so.

Is it within his power to try to force a contested convention? Of course.

We're at a critical moment in US history, and those who are most seduced by cults of personality are the ones who want to throw a monkey wrench into the potential heart of the Revolution.
The Revolution may be illusory, or it may fail. But, by God, I'm going to fight for it here, now, and going forward, with every fiber of my being.
I was a Cruz supporter. At the time of the Florida primary, I was still trying to convince my Mom to vote for Ted Cruz, because I knew she wasn't yet ready for Trump.
I think I can safely say that virtually every person on this forum had Ted Cruz as their preferred candidate at one point.
But now I despise have some serious reservations about the man.
Cruz's support on this forum has steadily eroded over the course of the last 6 months, and it that has occurred for several reasons, among which are Donald Trump's amazing leadership and resiliency, and Ted Cruz's unprincipled, naked opportunism and ambition.
The withering attacks that Donald Trump has weathered would have disintegrated anybody I can think of. He is one tough son of a gun.
And he has earned my undying loyalty, for at least as long as he stays the course and keeps his word.
Given Cruz's maniacal and suicidal insistence on forcing a contested GOP convention, my reservations regarding him have now gone off the charts.
He's in total denial, and so are many of his supporters, and thus the bloodbath that we're seeing.
There will be healing, but it will take time.
Stay the course, everyone, especially you, Jim Robinson. May God Bless you and Keep you, and may you use your discernment wisely. Thus far, IMHO, at least, you're doing fine. Don't let anyone tell you different, don't change a thing, and follow your heart.
God, I hope this is really over on Tuesday, and I pray that you give Ted Cruz the wisdom to humble himself before your will, whatever that may be...
