Rubio brings nothing to the party but foam.

Wrong: foam and Florida. Although Florida Governor Rick Scott might also be in the running...

I think Trump would take Florida anyway and I don’t think Rubio would help but you may be right. Of the the two I’d lean, after looking him up toward Rick Scott.

I wish he were 10 years younger would be the only complaint.

In fact, Rick Scott looks like a good choice

Rubio (27%) couldn’t even win his own state versus Trump (45.7%) in the Florida primaries, just last month. The only thing he brings to the party is (possibly) Mona Charen’s fangirl approval.

And just WHO are YOU to decide who is conservative and who isn't?

Believe it or not, N.Y. and Ct. still have many farms, small businesses, and the people outside of the college towns and slums are extremely CONSERVATIVE! And unlike Co. they can actually VOTE in presidential primaries!

Utah is filled with MORMONS and Teddykins was greatly helped out there, by Romney and CRAZY BECK, and others.

STEALING delegates in Co. set other people's teeth on edge; legal or not, what CHEATER Cruz and his team did there and in Iowa, disgusts "normal", non-blinded by CRUZITE-BIAS!

Twee Teddy lost the ENTIRE SOUTH...are you attempting to claim that those voters aren't "CONSERVATIVE" as well?

What did Cruz do to win delegates in Colorado that Trump couldn’t have done himself? It’s not cheating when you follow the exact same rules available to all your opponents.

There aren’t many conservatives in NY or CT. More power to the minority of them that are there.

What do you have against Mormons?

Trump won most of his Southern states with either a small plurality in the 30s, or a number separated from Cruz by a razor thin margin. Rubio split the vote in those states. Those voters are definitely conservative and a majority of them did not vote for Trump.

Deflect, change the subject, and ignore what I posted, if you must, but it doesn't change the FACTS and it just proves how off the rails and delusional you are.

That's right...keep making excuses; that may keep you warm for a bit. Your blindfold and blinkers and LIES just might shelter you for perhaps a few more days; however, your crap posts fool nobody but you.

The fact that the GOPE elites may "legally" keep the " little people" from voting and allow some sleazy candidate to garner delegates "legally", but most people don't approve of this stuff at all! And Teddy can't manage a win in states where there are actually VOTES taken, though he did win his ADOPTED state...though poorly.

Face it....Cruz has absolutely NO POSSIBLE WAY of winning the 1237 required delegates nor the nomination, on the first ballot; probably not even on a second ballot, which there won't be.

You post completely UNEDUCATED and pathetically stupid posts about states you obviously know nothing at all about. You post lies, impugnations, and the most ridiculous excuses for Ted's poor showing, to make yourself "feel" good. It's long past time to just give up being delusional.

Some of us haven’t voted yet, so it feels good to be able to cast a vote that counts before the nomination has been decided for us by other states. No one can predict how this primary will end. Trump said 3 or 4 things on Thursday that shocked a lot of people. Most independent prediction models do not find Trump getting to 1237 bound delegates before the convention either. A highly-viewed convention that has the party uniting to decide on a candidate could be a positive thing for the general election chances. People said the ratings Trump brought in would lead to high turnout in the primaries and they did. Don’t you want a one-of-a-kind, highly rated, unpredictable convention instead of a boring coronation ceremony?

Why do you accuse me of lying and then post falsehoods like Cruz can’t win a regular primary? Even though he just won Wisconsin with a higher popular vote than Trump got in New York?

It’s irrelevant to discuss what people “approve of” or don’t. Some people don’t approve of the winner-take-all rules. But rules are rules. You accuse me of changing the subject, yet you completely abandon your false accusation of “cheating” without apologizing for it.

:)

There are probably college students in a near-catatonic state right now, sucking their thumbs.

Outside of his home state area Cruz seems to need establishment help to win the states he did. The Mormon mafia in Utah and the Walker machine in Wisconsin for example. Trump won the states he did using less than a skeleton crew around him - no polling - no superpacs - no focus groups - no speech writers and almost no money spent.

Trump is running his own ads. Just heard one in PA today.

Trump had a lot of endorsements in Arizona. He got endorsed in Maine and still lost.

The states Cruz has won are very consistent by region and by how conservative they are. Cruz wins red states and Trump wins blue states, other than the southeast, where the vote-splitting helped Trump win with similar shares of the vote that resulted in losses in later states.

Since when are Mormons “mafia?”

You ONLY want a brokered convention because you stupidly believe that the GOPE ELITES will hand it to Teddykins. THEY WON'T ! But IF they were stupid enough to do that, Cruz would lose the general in the BIGGEST landslide in the political history of the USA!

You can play all kinds of mind games with yourself, lie until you turn blue, post one monstrously uneducated post after another....all to no avail!

Trump was NEVER going to win Wisconsin and everyone with more than 3 working brain cells knew that.

Trump has promised to make the convention "exiting" and entertaining".

A contested/brokered convention will NOT be "exciting", entertaining"; but it WILL DESTROY the GOP and any chance of the GOP of winning the White House and keeping both Houses of Congress for a long time...or EVER!

You really don't understand politics, the American people, n or how foolish your posts look to the vast majority of posters and lurkers.

OTOH, in the end, Trump shall make a clean sweep of the the other states on the Eastern Seaboard !

Keep spinning. Cruz had his head handed to him in the Deep South too. Are they “liberal” Republicans as well?

Face it, Cruz has very narrow appeal and he’d be a disaster in a national contest. His campaign doesn’t have the infrastructure (ground game) to be competitive nationally and he has no crossover appeal. Most people do not like him.

Cruz is the #NeverTrump candidate. As long as Trump has less then 1300 delegates Cruz will continue his anti Trump campaign. He is entirely owned by the GOPe.

Ted Cruz is a fraud.

Trump took a loss of delegates in CO and WY and turned those losses in big wins for himself.

That’s the kind of thinking and skill that has brought him this far, and is going to be turning the direction of our country in a year from now.
