Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Thursday said front-runner Donald Trump had defied common sense and embraced political correctness by coming out against North Carolinas law barring people from using public restrooms of the opposite sex.
He said he thought men should be able to go into the girls bathroom if they want, scoffed Mr. Cruz, a U.S. senator from Texas. Let me ask you, have we going stark raving mad? This is political correctness. This is nonsense.

What does any of that have to do with Cruz being a mini me of Trump? Well unless he has to suck up to somebody else once in awhile. :-)
He’s being set up like they always set up Republicans with goofy questions. He should say that it is the only time he agrees with Hillary, even if he doesn’t know where she stands. Why don’t they ever ask a Democrat a crazy question like this?
Not my problem. So Trump has won this election. Is he the guy you think he is? That is the question. That is what I'm saying. If he is, then we probably weren't on the same page politically in the first place. If he isn't then woe unto us.
He is for a border wall, vetting people to come into America legally through a door, even Heaven has a gate...
He's for Our Veterans and Wounded Warriors that fought for America that need health care, and respect, which they do not get right now...
He is for jobs for Americans, bringing jobs back to America will help Americans and their families...
He is for a tax plan that will help Americans not the over blown government of today...
He is for a better health care system, not the one that robs you blind and you don't get anything from it...
He is for removing Common Core, which was put in by our over blown government, to the local schools where our children and grandchildren go to school at...
He is for building up our Military to where foreign countries won't attack us like they can now, because obuma has destroyed it...
Anything else...???
I don't care. The man's a schlub to not only take a hard left on this issue but to bring FReepers with him.
I agree to a point. His problem is he embellished on top of the answer. That is where he gets himself into trouble. He needs to act like he is always being interrogated. Keep the answers simple and factual. Quit speaking his mind because that tends to get him into hot water.
We have existing laws that handle this already.
What we don’t need is additional laws, especially federal ones, to deal with this. The liberals are trying to make this some sort of “human right”. It is not. No one wants men in the lady’s room but on the other hand, we don’t need Fedaral Bureau of Potties either. And laws don’t stop crimes, they define them. And if they are not enforced, the laws are worthless.
Also, stop with the personal attacks, it is getting disgusting on here. Grow up please
He is for higher taxes. He is for anything goes toilets. He will be for a lot more once he nails down the nomination. Wait and see. We will have a lot more conversation before this election is over. Donald will not just veer to the left, he will be pulling a sharp louie.
Who is this ‘Cruz’ person?
And this is something you want big government to mandate all states do right?
Trump is insane to back the transgender/cisgender restroom movement. This is sick and just gives in to outright perversion.
_______________________________________________________
What do you people want? Do you want a pecker checker stationed at every restroom? A transgender person dressed as a man would cause more problems in a womens bathroom than if she went in the mens room and closed the door to the stall? The same applies to the vise versa.
I heard "Amanda" but maybe it was "America"...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jiq4PJmC24E 18:40 listen to what he ACTUALLLY said. Hard to disagree with his observations which is what he provided.
This is a better idea. It is how we live our lives. The first branch of government is “we the people of the united states”. Notice that we come before states, before legislative, and before judicial. Powers not specifically delegated to the Fed are reserved to the states AND to the people. This is in the domain of the people.
“What do you people want?”
For states to be able to make it illegal for perverts to go into bathrooms to prey on people. Some see it as wrong to keep grown men out of restrooms where young girls might be. It might “hurt the feelings” of the transgender/cisgender set. I don’t care so much about their feelings as I do keeping helpless people from being preyed upon by perverts.
It’s been a pretty clear cut issue for decades.
OMG!!! You are in trouuuuuuble! ROFL!!
I assume that you’re for the illegal invasion of our country? Anyone who doesn’t believe that illegal immigration isn’t the most important issue of our time is a drooling, hopeless moron.
“We want a white country again! (sarcasm)” So, in your little opinion, keeping illegal invaders out is racist. I think your exposed your true self with that leftist comment.
I believe you would feel more at home at DU.
My reply wasnt to that document but to the document you posted in # 168. You posted that document as proof Trump has been registered as a Republican since at least 1989. Interestingly the document you question in your last post is the one that shows he registered as a Republican in NYC in 1987.
See page 32 of this 2013 Annual Report from the Board of Elections - The City of New York as it explains what the types, Voter Type on the printout mean:
http://vote.nyc.ny.us/downloads/pdf/documents/boe/AnnualReports/BOEAnnualReport13.pdf
In the column Voter Type, the R stands for Regular Voter as opposed to: E-Special; F-Federal; H-R(Mail Address); M-Military; O-Overseas or P-Permanent Absentee. I am not sure what all those designations mean but none of them have to do with party registration. Military, Overseas and Permanent Absentee are fairly obvious, but I can't find any keys or designations for the others. But it has nothing to do with party registration at the time the vote was cast.
Ballot Type would be R for Regular or A for Absentee. Not sure what B stands for but am looking.
On the voting record print out, the registration date is the date the person first registered to vote in Manhattan (and Trump has said that prior to 1987 he was registered in Queens), and the Enrollment, i.e. Republican, would indicate the voter's current party registration at the time the printout was made which was on 09/03/2015.
Again what you posted in #188 doesnt say what you think it says. Besides if Trump had always been registered as a Republican, at least since 87 or 89, I would have expected him to come out and refute the reports that say otherwise. Dont forget he was going to run as the Reform Party candidate in 2000 which matches up when he changed his party registration in 1999.
