Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Thursday said front-runner Donald Trump had defied common sense and embraced political correctness by coming out against North Carolinas law barring people from using public restrooms of the opposite sex.
He said he thought men should be able to go into the girls bathroom if they want, scoffed Mr. Cruz, a U.S. senator from Texas. Let me ask you, have we going stark raving mad? This is political correctness. This is nonsense.

Tell me, how do you prevent it?
Laws don’t prevent crime, they define them
You need a police force to enforce it
We already have pervert laws in every state
So the laws already exist
Do we create a Federal Bureau of Potties? Do they have a police force that goes from bathroom to bathroom to make sure the right gender is using the right potty?
Seriously, what is the next step?
“I dont agree with the Trump stance, but unlike you, I have a hard time getting upset about this campaign issue when we have things like ISIS, Amnesty, Obamacare, Jobs, etc.”

I know.
I was really taken aback by his stance and need time to digest it.
To say that I was disappointed would be a gross understatement.

I'm tired of the war on our culture. We are one USSC vote away from losing the 2nd Amendment. The culture matters and we should demand more from the state and from the politicians who want to run it, especially when they come as enemies disguised as friends.
Thank you. I just love how people who never gave a damn for conservatism before are now coming in to redefine it for those who have been conservatives all along, and telling us that social conservatism doesn’t matter.
Agreed! If you saw a transgender in a public restroom chances are you didnt even know it. Such a huge issue. People are freaking out over nothing.
Thank you. Glad someone else is seeing it. Trump seems to say whatever he thinks he needs to say, regardless of whether it's liberal or conservative. That's why I don't trust him to stick to a conservative agenda.
Will affect very few prople.
I was commenting on what I believe is Trump’s stupid position regarding the LGBT bathroom issue...my ‘Fruit of the Looms’ are just fine!
If someone is dressed in women’s clothing, I am not going to rush and ask them if they are ‘female’. I am going to ignore them and go about my business.
If a law gets broken deal with that then.
Better alternative might be don’t go to the restroom other than at home
Trump would be well advised to stop the PC pandering and stick to conservative principals...oh, wait, not sure how conservative...never mind. lol
Seriously though, the citizens of Houston recently defeated the Hero ordinance proposed by the previous openly lesbian Mayor, Parker.
This was a very inflammatory issue here. The mayor even went as far as sending several local pastors at the front of opposition a summons to turn over their sermon notes to investigate whether they were speaking in opposition to the Hero ordinance from the pulpit.
Trump didn't think this one through if he was pandering. If he was truly speaking from the heart...He’z certainly not exuding Texas values, that's for sure.
The real issues, as you call them, will never get resolved to our liking unless someone has the guts to stand up for what’s right. Trump talks a good game but he won’t even stand up for something as simple as this. That being the case, how will he ever stand up for things that will bring even greater controversy? Right now, he’s on the wrong side of the issue and he’s just a lot of talk.
Just go into a bathroom, when people freak out tell them you are a woman today.
Truth is this will never go away, I said that long before Robert killed any notion that it ever would. The employers wanted it to go away, at least for the Grunts, not their key employees, sort of like our Congress critters and their elves.
Health care for a whole host of reasons has a product that the working man can not afford. No matter how well the average person plans for retirement most would never be able to afford any major health care expense, when even simple procedures can run into 10 or 100's of thousands of dollars.
If people really think we will go back to a time when you were simply required to pay or die, you are delusional. We may go back to that time but not voluntarily.
When Trump started campaigning, he was against political correctness. That’s what got him caught up in a wave of support — even in North Carolina — because we’re all sick of it.
TOTALLY agree on 2nd Amendment.
Conversely, I know how hard the Cruz campaign is grasping at straws and the MSM grasping at any possible way to have Ted (who they feel would lose to Hillary) win the nomination besides Trump (who they really fear) lose it.
Parsing, equivocation and extrapolation of what your or I think about it doesn't matter. I watched, I saw, I heard and I formulated my impression and it didn't come off like yours.
But you are entitled to yours as a I mine. Pay me no never mind. My wife is fond of telling this Georgia boy, born and bred that he's a dumbass country boy that can barely tell sh!t from shinola. I've learned to let the tide roll (I had a lifelong best friend who died years ago, but I always think about Roll Tide because he grew up in Munford Alabama). You have a great day.
Those Mexicans will vote democratic then it wont matter what you think is more important. Immigration is not just an issue, it is the only issue this election.
So instead of arresting pedophiles who exploit children, we are going to pass laws that protect them when they are in bathrooms with cameras pretending to be “harmless” transgenders. So we are going to protect the freak but to hell with our kids? I would say this ranks right up there with terrorism. We can build a wall, but we pass laws letting the fox into the henhouse. Jobs? Obamacare?
Whatever.
Cruz doesn’t matter anymore.
Talk to the hand.
